So the gloved one did not switch the sperm samples at least not today. So if things stay the same, Bell's egg will get Shawn's sperm. The question then becomes will Bell carry her and Shawn's baby or will the gloved one do another switch after fertilization?

Yea, they might recast Shawn, but still MM migh not have chemistry with the new actor. And personally I would like to see Belle take a whole new direction once JC Shawn leaves. Something better and strong, to show off her AMAZING talent!!

I enjoyed the Austin and Carrie scenes, but I'm ready for this storyline to move. I hope we get some good stuff at the wedding. Didn't really care for much else of the show. I missed Steve and Kayla.

I could see if Brandt wasn't also leaving, that maybe Shawn would leave the cast for a while, but knowing Fath just signed til 2007 or 2008 or whatever AND that Brandt is leaving, I think this means more Shawn. I think a re-cast could help - IMMENSELY! Like it did with MM.

I don't know about that. There was a time when NO ONE thought the character of Belle could be redeemed. All we had to do was get rid of Storms. I think a lot of people would be surprised at how different and likable (well, MORE likable) Shawn could be with a really powerful and talented actor in the role.
