I don't know about that. There was a time when NO ONE thought the character of Belle could be redeemed. All we had to do was get rid of Storms.

That may be true, but that's also because the writers were writing Belle in a different way than Storms had previously been playing. They wanted to mature Belle. Storms was great as teenage-Belle, but not adult Belle.

Shawn has been written the same way since he came on in '99. I think Jason has pretty much made the role his and I don't want to see another actor in the role.

Cook can be bad, but I'd rather not see another actor playing the role.

I'd rather they give him the time off or move the story to the backburner rather than re-cast.

I also agree that Belle needs a new story away from Shawn.

For me, I'd rather a new actor in the role for Shawn. Jason Cook has never made me root for Shelle ever, especially after the Jan stuff.

Has the Wimbledon lead-in ever helped Days in the ratings?

I hope Mimi and Phillip's baby makes it.

Not because I want Mimi to get a kid , but because I want Phillip, the ultimate chump, to get a kid of his own.

Plus, if it's Phillip's, then Bonnie can harp on something else besides helping her daughter continue to lie to her husband.

And, I want Kate to be stuck with another female that she can't stand as the mother of her grandchild.

okay...watching the show now..and its pretty boring..I will say that i liked Austin Peck today..i thought he did a great job with his scenes on the rooftop today, trying to get Carrie to stop the wedding..

Yeah, today's was a little boring. It's definitely coming down off the high of the wedding interuptus, the returns, Lexie's being exposed, and Hope's pregnancy, but it's gearing up for the Carcus wedding, which hopefully won't disappoint!

Bonnie is one of the most disgusting characters on a show and I wish a house would drop her on her loser ass.

Watching Days as long as I have, I learned that the Monday before the Wimbledon break always sucks for some reason (the lone exception being 1997 IMO). The show before the two day break is always pretty good.

Today wasn't bad-it was merely buildup. They are building to the wedding and I liked that. Christie and Austin were superb today IMO and LUMI scenes were good too.

I am liking Phelle alot lately. Shimi sucks and Mimi, Patrick, and Shawn disgust me. Bonnie is Bonnie-I learned to accept her a while ago .

THe gloved hand thing is so good-what a great mystery.

Shawn does need to shutup though. I enjoyed Billie and Bo today. THe Hope stuff was good too. We should have a good rest of the week though .

Oh and Shawn will be recast. Bope's son is going nowherre. You will see Mimi go before him. I new actor could do wonders for the role so I agree with that. I do want the character of Mimi gone though.

I don't care if it was merely build-up. It sucked. No television show should have to be explained as this or that. It should just entertain. Any idea who wrote the episode (I liked Carrie and Austin and consider that's all I liked--that's scary)

I thought AP did a good job in his scences with CC! I loved the LUMI scenes also!! AS m uch as I hate Patick, good lord he is HOT!!!!

I was not excusing it Keith and maybe it sucked for you but not to me. It wasn't great but it wasn't trash. I have seen worse and honestly I would expect nothing less today since today and tomarrow are holidays and people aren't going to be watching. It is filler plain and simple. It's not making excuses it's just the way it is.

I felt it was entertaining enough.

The show was OK. It was a step down from the last couple of weeks. I can see why the show was a little lackluster before all the returns. The two couples involved in the baby switch just don't have the chemistry going in my opinion.

Now I do like the Sammy storyline and all four of the young characters in that one.

But I'm ready for some more Patch and Kayla.

You know an episode is bad when Macdonald Carey's voice saying "We'll return for the second half of Day's of our Lives in just a moment" sounds like a threat.

I knew better than to watch today live.

Shawn is pathetic. Hope is almost as pathetic right now, but she seems to be getting her gripe on reality back, somewhat. Asking Patrick to please walk her to her car was like throwing a glass of water in Bo's face and I HATED that. She is asking that horrible man (I hate him) to walk her to her car when her husband of 20 years is willing to forgive her for sleeping with that goon. But, there is no excuse for Shawn's behavior. No boy wants to see his mother pregnant with another man's child even if he is angry at his dad. That is not anywhere near believable.

Hated the Austin/Carrie scenes and hope they are off our screens soon, like the Brady/Chloe ones.

Not a good day at all....but I enjoyed watching Sami and Lucas.

Also, Hope's hair was very becoming to her today. It made her face look fuller and younger and more alive.

Anyone else a little weirded out by Bo's shirt....i'm gay and i wouldn't even wear that shirt..

That shirt was awlful! What was the deal with the mystery glove person having a flashback of the same episode? They must think we can't remember anything. I really enjoyed the Billie/Bonnie scenes.
