If they want to change Days, get better ratings they need to do a lot.

Patrick: Let him stay, because:

I've read a lot over here before I became a member, and a lot of people think Patrick should be written out. I don't agree with those people, because If you look at the character Patrick is under-used, but you can do a lot with Patrick. Is Patick a good of bad guy?? We don't know, What has Patrick been trough? Not a lot on the air. So why fire him, if he's still a character that you can do so much with??

Roman: Let him go, because:

He is just the opposite of Patrick. What can you do with Roman?? Almost nothing. He had a lot of love stories, he's been sick, has had aventure storylines and more. You should write him off, because we don't want him and Kate back together or him in a story with Marlena and John. That's all old.

Bo & Billie: Let them go, because:

There expensive, or you should let them go for like 3 or 4 months and write them back after that. Because you can do more with Hope then with Bo. We don't want a Who's the daddy storyline of a Bo/Billie/Hope triangle.

Frankie, Tek, Bonnie: Let him go, because:

They don't bring anything special to Days anymore.

2 Storylines I thought about:

John, Marlena, Kate, Victor, Hope:

Bo and Billie are gone and Hope is living alone. Kate and Victor are back working together on Titan, and Kate gives Victor a lot of information from Basic Black. John's company is going down and the whole situation is getting ugly. Marlena and Kate's friendship is getting worst (look at the Jessica/Margo/Doc storyline of ATWT) and while Marlena and Kate are still fighting, John is looking for atention somewhere else. John and Hope start an affaire, and they both want to stop because of Marlena, but they just can't. Eventually after the Marlena & Kate thing is over (john is on a busniss trip and Bo is back in Salem), Hope tells Marlena the truth. Marlena is hurt but wants to be with John, so they try to get there relationship right where it went wrong. Kate and Victor are a back being a couple and Bo wants Hope back, but Hope feels like she's a second choice because his relationship with Billie didnt work.

Carrie, Austin, Lucas, EJ, Sami, Lexie:

In my opinion it went wrong when they brought Carrie back. They should have brought her back to let her have a relationship with someone like Patrick and then slowely brung the Austin/Carrie feelings back. But Ok, that didnt happen. They should let Lexie get cancer when Tek left town and Abe is letting her down after the divorce. Lexie will go through a terrible and lonely time and after she gets better she's going to destroy Sami. Austin and Lucas will leave town for like 2 months because of Business so Sami only has Carrie and EJ to turn to. Carrie is suporting her sisters and believes she's going to change. When Austin gets back Carrie decides to try things again with Austin and it's going t work. Lucas is still gone and EJ is on another storyline. Then Sami tries to come between Austin and Carrie but this time Austin is seeing what Sami is trying to do and not Carrie. So there is going to be a lot of fights, but when Lucas comes back everything changes. Sami wants Lucas back.

The John/Hope pairing lost them 3 million viewers already, why would they go back there. You cannot mess with supercouples, that's what's almost killed this show. And you can especially not pair two halves of two supercouples. Didn't work with Shane and Kayla, and it sure as heck didn't work with John and Hope/Gina. Plus, John has never looked at any other woman when he could have Marlena, as Hope hasen't when she could have Bo.

Well this storyline would be more about Kate & Marlena's friendschip thats going to be destroyd thad would lead into John's affair with Hope. and with Bo & Billie leaving I think vieuwers could excpept it. I think Hogan could write it fine. And eventually the story will go about John and Marlena's real love.

But if you ask me, I don't want Bo and Hope together. Hope can get someone better, who loves her more then Bo does and who will always be there for her. Bo isnt that person anymore

They tried to go there with John and Hope several years ago and it didn't work. Plus, I think Bo should stay. There is still story to tell with him. Billie I can take or leave.

I do agree though that supercouples do need to be shaken up from time to time. There are soap fans out there that are tired of the destined couples being together for so long, it gets boring and predictable when stories start up for them. We know it's usually going to be a third or fourth party trying to come between them. The key is to write these stories with a fresh perspective. Problem is, DAYS has been the supercouple soap for so long, and fanbases are used to knowing the couples will eventually reunite, they don't want to accept anything else.

Plus, I think Bo should stay. There is still story to tell with him.

Any number of things. The two have a history that's only been partly mined. Bo's the one who put out Steve's eye. And Steve was "killed" in a trap that was meant for Bo. There's a lot of history/guilt between them that can be worked through.

Bo and Steve are also very similar souls. Watching them work together is just fun.

Add to the fact that they're connected by family and the show works bettter with both of them on it than just one.

I LOVED Jope! I tuned in especially to watch Jope scenes, and was really hoping Zach would

have been Johns.

But the majority didn't. They tried making John/Hope work for 4 years. 1997 to 2001. They had to end the story early because spouse swapping was so unpopular. Whether some like it or not, right now - this show relies on it's supercouples. One can argue that it's not how it's should be, but the show has gotten horrible and the fans' loyalty to their couple and favourite characters is why it's on.

They had to have both John and Hope RAPED for them to have a sex scene. John wouldn't look twice at Hope and Hope wouldn't look twice at John. They are both commited to their soulmates, and there's no way to have them involved without pissing off your biggest supercouple fanbases and destroying the characters.

Why get rid of him? Because quite frankly the character is NOT needed. I mean I just DO NOT CARE about his past, whether he is good or bad and the actor just aint that good if you ask me. Patrick was a HUGE mistake right from the beginning and he needs to go, he is a waste of space in what is already a ENOURMOUS cast and if there is going to be cast cuts HE should be one of the ones cut.

Also we have much better characters that fit his dynamic already on the show, ones we care about and actually have ties to familes (ones that are respectable and were not pathetically introduced) that hold significance on the show.

Also we now have EJ, a character that ha only been on the air for what 3 weeks and not only has Patrick beat in the likeability, but is also WAY hotter and have WAYS hotter chemistry with his female counterpart.

I do agree however on getting rid of Frankie and Tek (eventually). As for Bonnie, I say get rid of the character and have Evan play Adrienne OR make Bonnie Adrienne.

I liked Jope and Jate at first but then when brain chips and drug addiction came into the picture it ruined it for me.

Bo and Billie still have lots of possibilities. Patrick needs to go as does Tek and maybe Frankie but that depends on where they take him next. I think Frankie should stay in a way but I have a feeling he won't.

I will say that one of my worries with Sheffer taking over is the fanbases. I just know the minute he touches one couple (and he will break at least one up) they all will jump all over him and things will get ugly. So many potential pairings have been ruined due to the "destined couples" and their fanbases. There is so much potential to be explored. I am not saying couples like Jate and Jope would have worked but in many ways couples like them were never given a fair shot because Days either caved to the fanbases and ruined characters and potential new pairings to get that supercouple back together or they just reunited the supercouple like nothing ever happened and swept the other pairing under the carpet.

I agree with Bree-things need to be shaken up just not all at once like JER did. Have some couples together but explore other avenues. You never know what you will find. That is how you get supercouples anyway but exploring chemistry and such. With Missy leaving, we may get to explore lots with potential with Jack through a pairing with someone new like Sami or Billie. Days needs to do that at times though-you never know what hidden gems you may find.

The easier one to break up I think would be Jack and Jen as there are a lot of Frankie and Jen fans out there. I love Jack best alone as the pal or buddy or whatever brilliant, hyperactive people do. Jen and Frankie are American apple pie.

I like Kate and John and wanted them to take off, but Kate and Marlena are best friends so that couldn't happen, unless Marlena really fell for another man. I was so hoping Alex North was a good man and it would work out for them.

I suppose when it comes to supercouples, the only one I'm tied to is Bo and Hope, well, now Steve and Kayla when they get his amnesia worked out.

The others can play musical chairs all they want to....in my opinion.
