It doesn't matter if Will had it coming or not because it's all about the competitions.

IA. Shoulda Woulda Coulda. Cant predict how things would have played out. Janelle's hand was not supposed to fall off the 1st part bc Erika was going to throw that one. Oh well it happened. Who knows what would have happened in a different scenario

GH: May 2026 Discussion Thread

I agree. I think it's a rough road because Mo stated he struggled before with the material and it affected his mental health.
Just see how long the show kept Kirsten Storms.
With Mo's open mental health diagnosis, I am not sure the show can actually do anything about it and in general I don't think GH wants to take that hit because Sonny has fans not named Carolineg, I swear!!!

ALL: Those big, iconic soap moments

Lily/Sonny and Brenda/Jax have a few really good scenes before Brenda decides to go to the Canada cabin in the snowstorm because she's stupid and hopes Sonny will rescue her that really reflect how well Lily/Sonny and Brenda/Jax work better together.
The narrative now is that Sonny actually loved Lily. Not true, but he loved the idea of her. I remember Brenda saying he would have eventually fallen for her. Who wouldn't? Or something similar to that. I would have obviously raised my hand in disagreement in 1996. I think GH was a bit more subtle than I was in 1996 to be fair lol.

I thought of another moment that didn't live up to expectations: Mary getting hit with the falling C on Santa Barbara. To be fair, there was only so much that could do with a daytime budget, and all five actors involved (Harley, Jon, Nancy, Lane, and Jed) did their jobs just fine in the leadup and aftermath.
