You know what you right. I had mentioned in a different thread that Beyond the Gates needs a rival family. So Green/Thomas family would check both of those boxes.

I agree with all of this. I also want to add Trisha Grant and Ambyr Michelle as actresses that have definitely been handling business.

TMG and Ambyr for me are the breakouts of the unknowns on the cast along with the actress that plays Kat.

Nu-Ted def has chemistry with Leslie. Old Ted you could feel how much he hated her and how much he loved Nicole. I could see Nicole eventually going back to Old Ted. Nu Ted and the writing with him not even fighting for Nicole, I don’t even want or can even see them as a couple.

Old Ted had different chemistry with everyone. Heat with Nicole, fatherly bond with his kids, and then surprised me how scary he was with Leslie. Agree I originally thought he and Nicole would reunite but no more.

Yeah, that's what I always said as well. re: Old Ted. The most SilkPress was getting from that Ted would be hate sex. They had chemistry that went that far.

NuTed, I just feel is going to wind up with SilkPress in a straight man/bad girl relationship at this point. Or...I used to say and still wouldn't be surprised if they go with a traditional triangle with Nicole, but they really haven't built up Ted/Nicole at all. Unless Carlton is going to be evil and Ted has to rescue Nicole...that's the only way I see them getting close to getting back together.

I see Carlton being somewhat bad. With Leslie pushing her way behind the gates she may connect with Carlton to help him scheme to keep a wedge between Ted and Nicole.

It makes me wonder if the alleged new hire - possibly

is for Nicole. They'd be hot. But I also have my doubts they'd immediately jump to pairing one of the central female leads with

And I appreciate both you guys @ranger1rg and @DemetriKane's contributions to the BTG discussion topics. Honesty and truth is something I cherish, especially when delivered with a sense of humor.

I agree. The men... with very few exceptions are really really not comparable to the women in terms of raw talent. It reminds me of Brad Bell's drivel-soap that has always been carried by the women. Always. And for now... BTG seems to repeat this pattern. Buuuut don't take it as a negative - if there is something that will make me stay on with the show... it will be these amazing actresses. I thought it would be the the writing, but... it needs a lot of work.

I'm going to be a little bit more direct about Ms. Duckworth's explanation. There is something that's referred to as "walking and chewing gum at the same time." If you truly know what you're doing, then this would not be seen as a challenge, which begs the question: How much experience do these people have as writers? She talks about storyline beats? Well, they've missed a lot of those even with storylines moving like snails and flowing like molasses. Soooo......And I would've loved if she had mentioned, for example, putting a storyline and characters on the shelf in March, then returning to that storyline and characters in September. These storyline gaps feel unnecessary and doesn't help, and has played some part in viewer dissatisfaction.
