At least it's nice to see CBS remain committed to their soaps long-term I guess.
Members Melroser
Though I find the show annoying a lot of the time, I'm glad to see it sticking around. We finally got a new soap! We need to build back the genre. Keeping B&B helps that momentum.
Members Khan
On the one hand, I'm happy for the people backstage, whose jobs are now secure for another three years (a blessing in these very uncertain times). But, on the other hand, why do I feel like B&B keeps being rewarded for being so godawful?
Members Liberty City
WHEW... so the same recycled storytelling through 2028? Awesome. By then, it'll have been nine years since I last watched. Please register in order to view this content
Members Chris B
I'm glad they highlighted the ratings. Everybody tends to focus too much on live ratings these days when that isn't the only thing they look at. I wish they'd report more on the Live+7 and the streaming numbers so we had a better idea of how these shows are really doing, especially BTG since it is new. Although the show is awful, I'm glad that they are sticking with 3 soaps for now. I won't fault a network that is trying to build a soap lineup in this day and age. And as awful as the show is, people do watch it for whatever reason.
Members Maxim
I'm happy that soaps are not getting cancelled. That's all I'm going to say. Cheers to another 4 years of masterful storytelling. P.S this means we have a sure thing that we'll see the 40th anniversary. This is a big moment in my opinion. Never thought I'll see the day.
Members dragonflies
I just want Bell to retire, he's overdue too. CBS should have made it a contingent for renewal that he retires and hands the show over to someone competent like Heather Tom
Members Bright Eyes
Does this line up with Y&R's current renewal?
Members detroitpiston
I’ve been watching again since Luna had Steffy in the cage and I quite enjoy it, much more so than YR and Days. The show is decently produced campy fun for me which as someone who only started watching in the 00s is the standard I hold the show to and nothing more.

Members DaytimeFan
Yes, both are renewed through the 2027-2028 season. I am happy for the show, for the crew, the cast, and even Brad Bell. Though I think the show has an incredible amount of room for improvement and needs to move on from tired recycled storylines, I watch it sporadically and enjoy it for what it is.

Members BetterForgotten
This show is infuriatingly bad and I always feel stupid whenever I watch, but glad for the show and it’s staff to continue having jobs. Members Chris B
Since the soaps are now on a primetime schedule, I wonder if we will hear anything about a BTG renewal within the next couple months. Technically their season would end in August but with the unique ownership I guess it's possible it could be like GH and not have official renewals. It's also possible when it was initially picked up that it was for more than one season. @Erroldo you have any insight on this?
