I think they are hoping Tabyana will leave, and if she doesn't, they will just keep diminishing Trina until they can dump her the way they did TJ.

I know Joss is a "legacy" character but the difference in how they handle her compared to Trina is jarring.

Her three-year mark is this month, so I suspect if she were leaving, the storyline would've been hinted at already.

With the BTG competition in most markets, GH would be crazy to get rid of Tabyana Ali. GH should be giving their Black actors MORE to do, not less.

If they were serious about challenging BTG they'd re-sign Tabyana and recast Spencer immediately. They won't.

I think they see their audience as more along the lines of that woman who went on a racist tirade across soap Twitter last year...and to be honest I'm not entirely sure they are wrong.

I’ve enjoyed the last few episodes with Lulu investigating Martin and stumbling into finding out about Brook Lynn having Dante’s kid as a teen. The hijinks with Maxie and Spinelli these last couple of days sold me lol I love that kind of stuff. The last scenes with Lulu tricking Cody into confirming everything were good as well, I’m still confused why they’re forcing the Molly and Cody pairing when he and Lulu have better chemistry and she actually makes him likable. It would add another layer of drama to this paternity reveal story too but whatever. Lulu asking Carly for advice will have me happily tuned in tomorrow as well

Speaking of my favorite I hate that Carly is dating a guy who would use her daughter this way. I wonder how far they will go with this WSB plot, imagine Joss developing a crush on Brennan and she ends up sleeping with him while he’s still with Carly? I have no more investment in Jackly with this recasting so I hope they blow it up as far as possible and give us some decent drama

Danny and Rocco fighting over giving Jason info on Charlotte was a nice set of scenes, I appreciate their continued bond.

Jason and Anna > Jason and Sasha at this point so I like them teaming up to get Charlotte but its so obvious this writing regime uses the same story playbook on repeat. Isn’t this like their 3rd or 4th caper in a year?

Maura West looks amazing every episode she’s in. I enjoyed Portia going to her for advice on being blackmailed by Drew.

Emma and Gio are cool as the generic young couple and I do love seeing Kristina Wagner and Rena Sofer running around the canvas

Same. As soon as he went and frame Jason on top of all the Joss stuff, that pairing was done. So it is just counting down the clock until he leaves the canvas again.

 

 

I know some people were into Carly/Brennan when CM was in the role, but it really was just a whole lot of nothing for months.  A few kisses and a lot flirting, so what?  Carly will get over it.  Perhaps if they were a bit more serious before the role was recast there might have been a chance.   GH was spinning their wheels for months on this pairing and I never invested.  Brennan as a character is useless and unnecessary to begin with.  No loss when he leaves.

It was always a timewaster and so was he, with both actors. I'm glad Chris has a role for a few months but I expected him to be gone by fall and I still do. He gets plenty of work, he'll be fine.

I agree. Just spinning those wheels when they could had had a Carly/Brennan/Anna triangle right there, but that idea became DOA when the writing that made it a possibility (aka writing with nuances) left the building. I admit that I still had a little bit of hope due to the actors' chemistry, but now that things are truly back to 'factory settings...'a total time waster now. 

 

That also makes me think that Lucas/Brad are about to join Terry/Yuri on the backburner or wherever they are at.

I don't want to go down the HP firing rabbit hole again, but I agree. I actually do think Vaganos is pretty good.  But they should have written Molly and TJ off for a while instead of recasting Molly 4 times and having TJ just work on the other side of the hospital where nothing happens like he is these days.

I love hte current Molly! I think she was a good find from my short exposure to her. I wish they'd find something for her to do but she feels like what Id have imagined an adult Molly to become

Both Sonny and Carly are stuck in these time-wasting pairings that are moving at a snail's pace.  Neither are viable, but Sonny and Carly will never be backburned like Lucas/Brad or Teri/Yuri, who seem to hang out with TJ in the non-filmed part of town.

I don't dislike current Molly.  I think KV does a good job.  I also would have had no problem letting TJ and Molly leave the show when HP was fired, skipping the whole surrogacy plot, and bringing Molly back at a later date-with KV playing the role.  The multiple Molly recasts and a new Kristina in a short span of time felt like way too much.
