Members slick jones Posted February 19 Members Share Posted February 19 I don't see this as a character that should be on contract for longer than a 13 week cycle. I'm not dissing Harrington as an actor, but the character is John "Jagger" Cates in name only. As many have said, they could have cast him as a randomly named FBI Agent, or Sean Donely's son Connor, Sly Eckert, or any number of relations to legacy families. Like it or not, ASJ is still remembered as Jagger. His personal statements have made ASJ radioactive. The character has sooooo few connections left on the canvas (Anna, Robert, Scotty, Sonny) and aside from being Stone's brother... meh. He just sort of meandered through those scenes with Sonny tossing off clunky exposition about Karen, etc. whereas Mo actually half-woke up a bit (probably to intimidate the new actor, lol). It's all just so embarrassing. It's nice if an actor is nice to people on social media, but that doesn't mean they should all be employed on the show.
