The Killing Pool was the last classic story of the 90’s and I loved Edmund and Susan at the time, but their story ended with ED leaving of course. For whatever reason Days made a serious misstep by not even trying to go after ED when she was free in 2007. Budgetary most likely but since the show eventually recast Kristen/Susan anyways maybe they should have let it go sooner. I mean Brynn Thayer had so much fun in that 2011 cameo yet the show did nothing else with her after that. That said Adam Caine was indeed magnificent back then and looking back I was surprised he was only on for four months when I thought it was a lot longer than that. Interestingly enough Edmund’s time overlapped with Jonsey Jones, another very popular yet short lived character.
