Rest in peace, Billy Miller 💔You were the best TV Dad I could ever ask for, and we had so many great memories over the years we shared at General Hospital. I am so heartbroken hearing about this. You taught me so much and I will never forget you. 🙏🏼💞

This year has been truly awful for the daytime community: Jackie Zeman, Andrea Evans, and now Billy Miller. 

It's been truly devastating -- some ATWT greats have departed also.

I am still processing this. Or trying anyway. RIP Billy. What a loss. Deadline is reporting he was survived by longtime love Kelly Monaco. So, I guess they were still dating when he died. I feel for her, and I feel for his family & friends. Such a travesty!

I Am Honestly Feeling legit sadness and a feeling of mourning over this one!

Not that I'm in any way measuring or ranking loss, but Billy Miller's death has hit me harder than any daytime passing in the past few years.

Maybe it's because he was so young, maybe it's because we have reports of his problems and suffering, maybe it's because we saw his humanity in his acting. Maybe it's all of those and more. I am just so, so sad about this.

Listening to his friends and co-workers pay tribute to him on social media saddens me more, because I don't think Billy knew just how much he was loved. And if I'm hurting this much, I can only imagine how his family and friends feel.

In the words of Scott Clifton, "This is not fair."
