I liked John Paul Lavoisier as Rex on ONE LIFE and thought he was a good Phillip.   Kyle Lowder is far worse actor, as was Jay Kenneth Johnson in the last few months of his latest run.  There are some more I could mention as well.

What they could have done is do a completely new recast with someone like Jacob Young... but, I don't see Young returning to daytime for anything but a guest stint.

Is JKJ not available especially for the Victor tribute? Hopefully they still use old flashbacks regardless of who is playing Philip.

I wanted to go and see when JPL played Philip before, so I went to his Wikipedia page.

He doesn't have one!

I don't know why I find that sorta embarrassing for him and hilarious for me.
