For the Y&R 50th, they had a big party for current, former, and very early cast and crew.
Party held at  Vibiana on March 17, 2023.

Here's 7 pages of red carpet photos from the event, to get an idea of who was there!

That link has tabs - one for images and one for videos.

Also ... Check out everyone's social media accounts - some amazing pics.
Those are much more fun!

Thanks for sharing these links. On Instagram there is also tons of great stuff…

Tom Hallick, J Eddie Peck & Victoria Rowell. They truly invited a lot of folks that are usually not around at those Y&R parties and/or have not been seen on Y&R in decades. Kudos! A lush party - and a huge one at that.

EDIT: Phill Morris, Robert Parucha and Roberta Leighton - talk about some more surprise guests

Loren Lott looks lovely in lavender. I like how Veronica Redd’s hair matches her dress.

Bryton looks great. Stealing the wine-red suit with black shirt/black tie look.

Rory Gibson with the open shirt and flared collar is becoming a thing, and I’m not mad about it.

Not sure why Jennifer Gareis thought buying a costume in Party City’s lingerie section and wearing it to an event was a good idea.

TSJ looks the same age as Peter Bergman.

Great to see Victoria Rowell there.

TEB needs to fire her stylist. Like the great Merle Ginsberg once said, “She needs to go home and read a thousand Vogues.”

Tamara Clatterbuck looks good physically but that neon-green ensemble.

Courtney Hope (I almost wrote Crystal Hunt) continues to make poor choices.

Christel Khalil looks good.

Jess Walton went classy and classic sparkly and looks good.

MCE looks so dowdy in that dress. Hate it.

I almost wrote MTS looked good. Then I put my glasses on. Hate the fringe.

Loren Lott, so much wasted potential. She’s a star.

Victoria Rowell standing out amongst a crowd, per usual. I wonder how icy her former co-stars were to her. Dru’s return is the only thing that could possibly draw viewers back to this show, I’m telling you!

It was a great party! Well organized and had a lot of people around, past and present. Probably one of the best soap events I've ever seen put together.

I got to interview a lot of people, many of whom would love to return to Genoa City if the opportunity were to ever arise.

    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
