The two were just recently shot by Sheila who is still "on the loose" and a potential threat. Taylor shot Bill. Steffy has been a prescription drug addict. The problem is no judge would've allowed Douglas to stay with Steffy. He had two choices and Steffy wasn't one of them. The only problem with me is that I developed horns on my head as early as the age of 5. But at least I'm being modest. As a child, I somewhat went through Douglas's situation when I was really cute and Satan's spawn. Honestly, if I could turn back time, I wish I had the option of living with a cool Aunt. Someone who's actually fun to be with who got their lips done with fillers. Hell, yeah. I'm all over it. Back to Douglas, yeah. Even though we're talking about fictional characters, I see why Douglas made his choice. He's trying to find that neutral zone like Switzerland or something. He's done with the drama.
