The Neil flashbacks were great, but it also served as a reminder that Nate, Devon, & Lily really need Olivia and Malcolm around in some fashion.

TBH Lily really needs to dump Billy after proclaiming himself as Chelsea’s savior but the show doesn’t do drama.

And has the show dropped Imani for good? It would have been juicy for Elena to return only to find Nate and Imani having celebratory sex following Nate getting the Newman CEO position.

Completely agree, and Lily should be told, too. What’s with this “It’s not my story to tell” that Billy said to Lily? Ridiculous.

Sharon or some professional at the hospital should have told Billy it’s a bad idea for him to be with Chelsea 24/7. Who does that? In no way is that good for either of them.

Keeping the truth from Adam and Connor is pathetic.

It's just Josh trying to make his stories more interesting than they really are. He's done this repeatedly.  Remember Sally getting Summer a job? The SCANDAL!

Characters are made to look ridiculous in prioritizing petty grievances and hypocritical stances.

And paying one bit of attention to anything the likes of Phyllis has to say.

Agreed on all three points made, especially Lily, Devon, and Nate needing Olivia and Malcolm around since it's obvious they aren't ready to be the matriarch and patriarch of the Barber-Winters family just yet. Not to mention it's quite ridiculous that Nate has been back for six years and haven't one scene with his on-screen mother.

I don't think he's staying around for long, but I wouldn't mind a Daniel and Lily reunion. He could've ended things with Heather by now.

I think the show has dropped for Imani due to probably the factors of Mishael now on recurring and Leigh Ann Rose doing outside projects. Not to mention with Audra now being around as they've been hinting a chem test with Nate too.

    • Yes, they did a 'premiere' of Maggie's death episodes at the ArcLight theatre in Los Angeles, arguably then the nicest movie theatre chain in the USA. Plus, Suzanne and Deidre were in a ton of scenes together during this time. Whatever happened between them happened after 2004.
    • There are episodes with Jenny (Mary Ellen Stuart) that she was in pre-writers strike.. and I know that she lasts until at least August 1988. It's a shame that the show didn't try pairing her with Rusty since the two had more chemistry than she had with Ross and that he had with Rose.
    • Was that when she put on the"Slut of Springfield" red dress and made a complete ass of herself at the CC, so of course Alan fell madly in love with her on the spot?
    • Oohh...now I'm not sure. Long did come back in '87, didn't she. She broke up Ross and Vanessa almost from her first minute back. Van and Ross are at the Country Club when Josh dumps Reva. And Reva dramatically drapes herself on the CC stairs.
    • Glad you enjoyed watching. Yes, Michael seems like fun. I am always interested in more of these niche talk show appearances.
    • Thanks for the tag @DRW50
    • Upon reflection, I think you're right, their chilliness toward each other was more recent. She said women on the show in 1984 were not supportive and she still stays away from them. She seems friendly with Susan Hayes so Deidre is the only woman still around from those days, though I guess Kristian Alfonso and Leann Hunley could also qualify. And it might be someone long gone but who is still present in Suzanne's social circles.
    • I don't know.  The animosity seems to be more recent than the mid 80s.  When Maggie was a victim of the Salem Stalker i remember reading an interview with Suzanne where she said they aired the episode(s) surrounding Maggie death in a theatre and made a big deal about it.  Suzanne was very upset about being fired and Dee comforted her and said that they were making such a big deal about it because it was Suzanne/Maggie.  I cannot find the article but I will keep trying. That said Suzanne's comments on Soapy about how some of the female cast members treated her during her illness was disappointing to hear to say the least.
    • Anyway... Kristen should have a prison lesbian story arc. And then come out and become obsessed with Marlena so we can move her on from the Brady nonsense. Is that secret room still in the DiMera mansion?
    • Oh, wow... where can I find this interview?
