Yay! They are running with Nina thinking TJ/Willow are having an affair. I want to see that snowball and get messy so bad. hehe.

Darn! Another death! At this point, I don't think it is Liz now since that one attack was going on as she was out with Finn. And I also feel Esme is a red herring as well given her conversation with Kevin. Now outside of Kevin, I am starting to wonder who it is.

CS must be getting to the end of his contract because Victor is figuring more and more into things. Well...we could use a villain.

And ugh. Cyrus is back.

What the heck is it with Cyrus & scripture all of a sudden?

The show clearly underestimated the idea of Trina and Spencer, and clearly now with a large following, the show does not know what to do with them. Trina and Spencer are just another one of Dan and Chris's dangling threads, like the Hayden mystery(which involves the murder of her mom).

They're scared of it because she is Black, not Eden McCoy, and because Frank Valentini and perhaps the network are still operating on an outmoded mentality of coddling Midwestern grandmas from over a decade ago. Frank learned the lessons of the "Kish" backlash on OLTL, where he wiped the canvas clean of minorities and gays after a significant demo drop in that area, too well. They think a shrinking, rural white senior demographic is their primary remaining audience, their meat and potatoes (and they may or may not be right after years of minority marginalization), and they are afraid of how it will react to a frontburner interracial teen couple. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it until something changes.

It’s absolutely disgusting how they’ve treated this couple. It’s one thing to pull an Agnes Nixon “make ‘em wait,” but that’s not what they’re doing here.

I know I'm alone on this, but I haven't been interested in Sprina since the the actress change.  I have never felt it with the current Trina.

I agree to an extent, even though I’ve long come around to TA being the more accomplished actress. She and NC are fine, but NC and SM had me glued to the screen in ways I haven’t experienced with soaps in ages. They had that ineffable something that the great pairings of yesteryear had.

I still think Ali is superior both performance and chemistry-wise. YMMV. I think the show has definitely tried to tamp it down.

I would suggest a show that did not give up on black characters in 1995.

Ok, what was the point of all this Jacksonville crap? If they were looking for a way to bring Carly and Drew together, their relationship was going just fine before all this stuff.

Do they really think the views don't know the difference between a California and Florida coastline?   They could have at least used a flat beach around LA!
