Are they really expecting the audience to go with it on Gwen after she told people what, last week? that she intentionally killed Laura Horton?

I feel like Gwen had so much promise in the beginning, and I actually found her a little fascinating. But, the past year has not been kind to this character story-wise.

Except there’s an actual kitchen for Steve/Kayla

True.  Idk, next time it's on I will have to look at it closer.  I always just assumed it was the same set because they look very similar.

I'm sure you're right. DAYS loves to redress a set. Remember the "blue room" that was used over and over and over as everything?

To a point that is just good sense & good business practice. Sets are expensive & sets take up ROOM when they're not being used!

Yep, that was a nice little tribute today, unlike the Sarah/Renee mess.

I am so tired of Gwen. Day after day of her crying. Jack looking like an idiot to prop her. 5+ minute monologues of her telling some sob story. I'm over it.

It’s all so damn boring. Also tired of this show always having someone in police lockup, but getting unlimi Visitors. That’s followed by one of them breaking out the perp.

It probably is the same set and they just move the kitchen in when it's supposed to be Steve and Kayla's, like what they do with Basic Black and Lani and Eli's apartment

Yeah, that's what I figured especially since they don't use Kayla/Steve's house that often.  I don't know why they would have their own set that looks so similar.

@JAS0N47It seems as though Days is all caught up after the 2 week Olympic and 1 day preemption as todays episode was clearly meant for Friday the 13th of May. Any idea how they caught up so fast? I was under the impression that with the preemptions, they wouldn't get caught up for months. Did they re-edit?

You mean they don't just act like it's the day it's supposed to be? Oh I see. They probably have calendars of a sort on set that reminds everyone that it is a specific day, especially a Friday the 13th but if something throws them off, well, then, they're just SOL. Excuse me while I worked that out for myself. I hate all of this time stuff.

I'd still love to see Evan revealed as the child of Marlena and Orpheus.  See Marlena be the mother of a real monster.  See them try to humanize him like Ben.  😆

I’m so confused with the writing here. She happily said she killed Laura. And are we now supposed to believe she didn’t?

Seems very believable that she COULD'VE  just said that to get a rise out of Abby.  Gwen was leaving her alone, but it was Abby who went out of her way to expose Gwen in a matter that had nothing to do with her.

Whether Gwen killed Laura on purpose, it wouldn't surprise me if they try to keep it ambiguous.

What was that? I missed that.

Mike Manning 😍😍

What an expected pleasure. I really wish they would bring him back as a different character, with no ties to Charlie. He's too talented an actor to be wasted. I liked the scenes between Johnny and Charlie. Never thought we would get one lol I see Days has completely forgotten about the time jump though.

Ben was not needed to save Ciara. I would much rather she had fought Evan off all on her own.

This was a good episode overall. The acting was pretty good and the imagery and writing really kept my attention for the whole episode. I do like the way they're using the love and the bonds between family and friends in order to defeat the devil.

Evan and Charlie were wasted. They should still be on the show. The possession fiasco finally ends on Monday. The only thing I'm enjoying is the Paulina and Co. story.

I prefer Evan to Charlie. Mike Manning is very bland looking.

Really enjoying the Price story. I dunno how Paulina is going to explain using a cop’s gun to shoot Ray unless they’re going with she took it from Lani.

I love Evan's puppy eyes. I just drool when the actor goes that direction.

Its the only good story. The shooting of Ray was good but unfortunately very anticlimactic. The fallout could be great but look who's writing it. I have no faith.

I'll miss his handsome face too but I'm sure he'll pop up every so often to cause trouble
