Carolyn Hennesy going at it with random fans online makes her foolish, it doesn't make her a transphobe.

Nor does it make her an anti-vaxxxer. So I was confused why she was looped in this convo.
Slightly relieved, I gotta say. The fewer of either, the better.

"Multiple sources tell the Toronto Sun that Steve Burton is no longer a part of the show."
Link

EDIT:  The Toronto Sun is a tabloid, so I assume unreliable.

This calling out people or accounts for "liking" a post needs to stop once and for all. It's called evidence! When you "like" a post on social media it doesn't mean you agree with what is written. You are also using it to bookmark what was said by someone to refer back to later so that you have a quick reference guide to something instead of having to search for it all over again.

I can guarantee you that the GH social media accounts aren't liking posts, particularly this one because some intern can't tell the difference between what to like and what not to like. And btw, the handle isn't run by an intern.

There is a Bookmark feature in Twitter though. In the past it would only appear on the app, but now it's also available when you login using a browser.

The "liked" post isn't on Twitter. It's from Instagram.

Same thing with Instagram.  They have a Save/Bookmark button too, that's what that flag symbol on the right is.  Once upon a time yes, liking something was the only was way bookmark something, but not anymore. If General Hospital Instagram account wanted to book mark Ingo's post than that's the what they should have done, not liked it.

You can bookmark posts on IG without liking them, IIRC. It's a separate feature and a separate icon. AFAIC it was plain stupid of whoever runs that account to touch that post.

Exactly. If someone wasn't asleep at the wheel then they're just plain tone-deaf.

I personally find it easier to "like" a post when wanted to keep track of it than to use the flag feature and it's clear I'm not the only one. Just pointing out that before people assume a "like" automatically equals agreement, know that isn't the case for everyone.

Yeah, but you don't run the GH social media accounts.

Agreed. I can believe a lot of private people not being aware or use those features, but every PR person running the social media accounts for brands and companies from GH all the way up to McDonald's should be aware and using the save/bookmark button especially for controversial things. There's a simple solution for not wanting people to confuse likes for agreements, start using the save/bookmark features. That's what's it's there for. It's much easier to change your own behavior than everyone else's.

Long-time General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher is out at the ABC daytime drama. He was let go after not complying with the production’s COVID vaccine mandate, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Rademacher’s final episode on the show, where he’s been a regular for most of the past 25 years, is slated for Nov. 22.

Reps for ABC confirm that Rademacher ended his association with General Hospital prior to Sunday.
