I don't remember Lani/Rafe either! LOL. I guess I really don't remember that first stint. I do remember the stuff with JJ when she came back. I actually like Lani now and like her with Eli, but clearly I didn't care about her when she first came on, because I don't remember any of her stories!

I think Lani was a little more vixenish when she first started, but with Sal's delivery it's hard to tell.  I don't think Shawn and her were much, but I remember her being really into both Rafe and Shawn and you knew it wasn't going to go anywhere.  I think it was very much a situation where they brought her in to be Abe's daughter and then didn't know what to do with her.

Lani/Eli don't bother me much.  I don't think they are terribly exciting, but I do think the show uses them okay.

Lani got interesting with the addition of Jackee before that she was forgettable. I too forgot about her initial run.

I just like that Lani and Eli are relatively normal people (for a soap) and are a stable couple with a cute little family. I know that happy/stable/normal = boring on soaps but I like them. I don't think they're too boring for being a happy couple and I'd much rather watch them than most of the current couples on the show. Plus I always love when Eli reacts to the crazy sh-t that goes on in Salem. I want to see him react to Doug being possessed. 😂

Barely remember myself. That time was a blur to me too. Days was pretty bad. I do remember Belle and Phillip's affair. Getting more airtime. That was when Rex from OLTL was playing Phillip. Belle and Phillip were always in bed.

I honestly thought the Lani/Shawn stuff happened when they came back and Belle randomly cheated on Shawn with someone in Maine lol.  But it must have been Phillip.  Belle's kinda a whore. 

Yeah... Lani and Eli are boring lol. Hopefully, that’ll be fixed when the truth about Lani’s parentage comes out

Wow, I don't remember Belle with JPL's Philip at all. Gross. I must've blocked that out. I actually forgot that JPL even played Philip until now, lol. This must've been an awful time for the show because I've completely forgotten all of these stories. 

I also keep forgetting they foisted JPL on people.

Today's DAYS episode wasn't very good. All stories I could care less about. Philip is a bore, Gwen and Drabigail are boring, could care less about Gabi and Jake.

I remember when the news came out about JPL cast as Philip.😂

I can't remember JPL's Phillip and Belle together either.  I can't remember JPL at all as Phillip, but I can remember something as random as Lani/Shawn.  

What a weird choice for a Phillip recast.  I know most people hate KB's Phillip, but I thought he fit the role at the time.
