Aww..teehee..that's sweet. I have about two weeks of episodes DVR that I haven't watched. I don't know if I'll continue to watch the show after Chandler is gone. I do like JJ, Tripp and fake Jake. Not sure if that'll keep me watching the show.

I'm down to just posting in the soap ratings, tennis thread and anything reunion related in the canceled soap thread.

I'll have to do a goodbye Chandler Massey video too tomorrow..lol

I think that Chandler and Freddie are a mixed bag in terms of their acting--terrible in some scenes, pretty good in others. And they definitely seemed to be giving a lot of lazy, half-hearted performances in recent years.

But for me, the leaving scenes worked pretty well, since they were paired with real pros like John Aniston, Wally Kurth, and Deidre Hall, who helped wring some real emotion out of those scenes.

It says on my TV preview--I'm not sure what they are called, maybe it is TV guide--that "Sami brings in a surprise witness to bolster her case."  I am going to predict that it is Sydney.

I think Sami's now 16 year old daughter is going to come in an pour her heart out to the judge about how horrible Nicole is for kidnapping her.

On Edit: Wow, just a few seconds after posting what I wrote above I have already been proven wrong.  It turns out that Sami's surprise witness is Victor.  I think Sydney would have made a much better choice but apparently TPTB are determined to run with this story about Sami messing up with all her children.

Hopefully they will eventually settle on her having been a better mother to EJ's children.  Maybe they are saving Sydney for the permanent custody hearing.

I'm glad that they managed to weave Victor into Sami and Nicole's storyline. I feel like the show has pretty much forgotten that Victor and Nicole were unhappily married for a few years and that she tried to kill him.

Glad to see that Brady is back. Hope he gets pulled into the Xander/Phillip feud too. Too many times it seems like characters are in their own bubbles and their storylines don't often interact. I'm glad that that's changing.

And yeah I'm really gonna miss Will and Sonny, despite the smirking and uneven acting.

The flashbacks only reminded me of the time when both Chandler and Freddie tried and when Freddie actually looked good.

More goodbye scenes today, and none of them drawing any real emotion. The actors are to blame, but so is Ron for some terrible writing that made WilSon the most boring gay couple in America.

    • lol he sounds like he's speaking as Randy
    • Dani going to Bill's house is karma for how he messes with Martin. It is totally separate, but I can't feel sorry for Bill when he's constantly antagonizing a family he says he wants nothing to do with.
    • I understand what Lois did. I can see everyone's side, even if I don't agree with them.  That  proves it's a good story    Lois is far from ruined
    • Oh wow. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
    • The character of Lois has been ruined and trashed. There's no coming back from this mess. The current production and writing team have had no idea as to what made her special to begin with. She had a bit of moral fiber. Her treatment on the show is not atypical though, as most characters will get trashed, even beyond redemption, if it serves the current flavor of the month plotline.
    • No idea if this one had ever been up before or what the exact date is, but it's always good to look at/save the new AMC content while you can. If you're here for the drama there is some delirium with Adam and Erica about 10-12 minutes in.

    • I think there's a story to tell in someone who always believed in honesty and integrity being emmeshed in so many lies, but I agree that it wasn't very well laid out over the last few months. I think if I was more invested in Lois, I would have more of an issue than I do. Few can hold up against Jane. This is one of those cases where I think mentioning who already switched babies or have long-lost children would just take away from the fallout. If Lulu wants to drag Brook Lyn for hypocrisy there is probably still time (if the show bothers). I don't think anyone would claim these are the best GH episodes ever. It may be very lowered expectations at play. But I do think that scenes like yesterdays were some of Tracy's best, as she is a character who is often not allowed that type of moment.
    • You would think that, wouldn't you? I'd almost think they needed the money to get Robert Newman back, but they also had to know Larkin wasn't going to stick around and play second banana either. I don't get what the writers thought they were doing with Calla. Long liked using actors from Texas, but other than Alex/Bev McKinsey, the characters she wrote for them seemed blah.
    • Bo has a bad history with kids named Zach. (too soon?)
