Members applcin
R.I.P. Gary Graham. This one surprised me. I think it's because I think of him young in "Alien Nation" even though I also saw him as Soval in Star Trek: Enterprise. He did a fun interview a year ago on Shuttlepod Show, which is done by Enterprise actors Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating. Members DRW50
I'm sorry to hear about Gary. I haven't watched Alien Nation in a long time but he gave such an energetic performance that always kept you interested and was a perfect contrast to Eric Pierpoint. @jam6242 Sorry to hear about Charles Osgood. I thought he was already passed.
Members Vee
Oh, he was great in a lot of things. I didn't even recognize him for hours when I finally watched some of ENT - he totally disappeared into that Vulcan character. Sort of a TV version of Scott Glenn. What a talent.

Members DRW50
A rare artist who had a sweet spirit alongside a real bite. I love "Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)." When people do retrospectives on music of that era I never feel like Melanie gets her due.
Members jam6242
She really doesn't. She was a favorite when I was young and I still listen to her music.
Members All My Shadows
I remember hearing the full almost 8-minute version of "Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)" on one of the MusicChoice channels when I was maybe 12 or 13, and it's existed in my mind as a true spiritual moment ever since. She really had her hand on the pulse of the era.

Members DramatistDreamer
It sounds like Harry Connick Sr.’s administration had an egregious prosecutorial record. The highest wrongful convictions rate in the world? https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/27/us/politics/harry-connick-sr.html
Members Khan
He also fathered Harry Connick, Jr., which, in many ways, was an equally egregious act.
Members DramatistDreamer
Ouch! It is nothing short of miraculous that Connick Jr.’s career was unaffected by the awful decisions of his father’s regime. Today, in the era of social media, Jr. catching a few strays in the hail of denunciations would have been unavoidable.

Members DramatistDreamer
A woman who was so vibrant, it seemed like she would go on past her centenary and keep going from there. ¡Vaya con Dios, Doña Chita! Descanse en paz.
