Members Khan
To say that I am heartbroken over the news of Bob Newhart's passing would be a grand understatement. Next to "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," his two shows - "The Bob Newhart Show" and later, just "Newhart" - were the most influential to me as a child and young adult, as well as a lasting reminder of when network TV still trusted their audiences to be intelligent enough to get the jokes, and patient enough to watch the actors in between them. RIP, Bob; and wherever you are, I hope you're bringing down the house with one of your legendary, one-sided phone conversations. Members All My Shadows
When you think about how geographically different in every single way these two shows are from one another yet they are both 100% on the Bob brand, it tells you everything you need to know about the man's status as a TV icon.
Members DRW50
Not sure if this should go here or politics but I'm posting it here. RIP to Sheila Jackson Lee, a trailblazer and a Congresswoman you always heard people talking about.

Members applcin
Mitzi McCall, Comedian, Actress and Sitcom Writer, Dies at 93 https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/mitzi-mccall-dead-comedian-sitcom-writer-seinfeld-1235971086/ melissagilbertofficial My beloved godmother Mitzi McCall has passed. She and my godfather. Charlie Brill were married for 64 years. A marriage people wish for. They raised my amazing god sister @jennybrillyoga . They were a magic , imperfectly , perfect family. I am so blessed to call them mine. I don’t know how how any of us do this without our beloved Minnie. Members Wendy
Awww. Of all the things she did, my only true exposure to Mitzi McCall was, of all things, Silk Stalkings, where she played Fran Lipschitz, wife of police captain, Harry Lipschitz, played by her real-life husband, Charlie Brill. She had personality! May she rest in peace.
