Hopefully, it is. The issue is that they now need to determine how long the antibody response lasts thanks to the vaccine. What is troubling is that in people who have had Covid-19, the antibodies their body generates do not appear to last long based on current studies to date.

At this point, even a vaccine that can minimize the worst of the effects of COVID-19 would be a big step in the right direction.
