And she's the right age. She's too old for Noelle. But when you have ages all over the place, does it really matter anymore? I'm at the point I'd rather have recasts than new characters. They're like family members who don't live in the same city as you and you only see them a couple times a year. I'd rather that happen than not seeing them ever again. If they want and need a character back on the canvas full time then I can sort of accept a recast out of necessity (see Kristen), but I'd rather not have them do a Vivian type of recast because Louise Sorel wasn't available at the time. If Sweeney's game for doing short guest stints then why not? I don't think they desperately needs Sami full time on the canvas either (Belle, Carrie etc could fill any void that Sami's left in theory), though if Sweeney wanted to do it I'd say go for it.
