I am glad to hear this news. Days is my favorite of the remaining soaps. 

Not surprised. They really have nothing else to air that would be cheaper at this point I assume.

Gawd...they are already 8 months ahead with them returning earlier means they'll be 8 years ahead.....

so they will still be 7-8 months ahead ughhh

Yes they tape til Nov 22 then go on hiatus and I believe they will be taped thru the July 24, 2020 episode

Then July 27-Aug 7 2020 are the Olympics

Days will be back Aug 10, 2020 which I assume is the first episode  taped in January 2020

Eh, I doubt they'll return to taping earlier, but at least this way they can secure contracts in advance if they know they'll resume filming in March.

SON is reporting they begin filming again in January 2020
