And that the first nomination was for playing Craig during ATWT’s waning years.

Amelia Marshall

Tonya Pinkins (who won a Tony and had two other nominations for Broadway stage work)

Judith McConnell

Lane Davies

Louise Sorel

Mary Kay Adams

Also: Beverlee McKinsey was never nominated as GL’s Alex after multiple nods as AW’s Iris, while Jed Allan was never nominated for Santa Barbara’s C.C. after his DAYS nod for Don Craig. (This while SB’s other patriarch, Nicolas Coster as Lionel, scored nod after nod.)

Schnetzer was nominated for the reveal that Nicole lied about killing Jason Frame on the eve of their wedding, his vision of supposedly dead ex- wife Kathleen, and the start of his relationship with Frankie.

He probably should have earned another nomination for when Kathleen turned up alive, and the manic depression, and the aftermath of Frankie's death.

The writing for both Cass and Felicia was really hit or miss after Felicia's alcoholism storyline in 1993-94.

    • I am actually surprised so many people think Lulu is way out of line.  I think it's more nuanced. Yes, it was BLQ choice to give the baby up for adoption and she shouldn't be shamed for that.  At the same time I do think it does directly affect Lulu's family because it is Rocco's brother and she's still in love with Dante.  So I can sort of see her moral dilemma there.
    • I think AMC 2.0 was pretty strong throughout, frankly. I still consider it the best soap of the 2010s. I was not against Dixie and literally anyone but Tad, lol. Dr. Anders was interesting but he also came off almost cartoonishly remote/on the spectrum at times re: his grief over his wife or whatever. It didn't get much chance to get off the ground, and they clearly planned to break the emergency glass and bring back MEK/Tad per the final episode.
    • I believe so, yes. But I think that was more a case of hiring someone who was then a popular soap name (much like bringing over Bernard Grant from GL a few years later). To my limited knowledge amnesiac Tom Edwards was a far cry from Bill Matthews, and he didn't last long.
    • As long as I'm not hearing the same redneck guitar musical sting Days has been using the GWB administration, I'm okay with BTG's evolving music situation.
    • Bo/Billie are in Night Sins but not together.  She's bantering with Jack about the manuscript and Bo is in love with Carly. He stops Carly from taking off with Lawrence and Nikki on a plane when he solves Lisanne's murder. Winter Heat is Bo/Billie focused.  Along with Vivian/Laura and Carrie and Austin I believe. Yeah, Bo/Carly and John/Isabella weren't exactly my thing so that's probably why I didn't love it.
    • Chase looked very hot today. Lulu needs to mind her own business. She's been so annoying ever since she came out of the coma. Tracy's reaction to Brook Lynn blurting everything was hilarious!

I'm waiting for Drew to tell Willow to jump off a cliff. She is so stupid and does everything Drew tells her to do.
    • I was very into both Bo/Carly and John/Isabella, so that's probably why. Add in early Jack/Jen, and that was another plus for me. (The subsequent special with Bo/Billie in...were they in "Night Sins"?...didn't work for me since I never liked Billie, no matter who played her.) And the Sami/Carrie rivalry exhausted me even then.

        So...yeah. Tomato, tomahto! All good.

    • Overall, this was a satisfying episode. Eva's desperation to stop Dana was gut-wrenching. I know it is a cliche to say that Ambyr Michelle is the show's breakout star but she is dazzling. She makes the most out of every second she is on camera. And Kat has proven to be such a good rival. I'm looking forward to the fallout scenes from DD. At the Paley Center event Sheila Ducksworth said something to effect of everyone being heartbroken watching her scenes.  I'm also looking forward to seeing Dana interact the rest of the cast in her true identity since she has been more or less siloed for the past 3 months.
    • Finally, it's been a while since an entire episode was good.  LOL  Leslie and Eva are just the stars of this show. I get disappointed whenever they aren't gone.  So that was a good cliffhanger, however, I have to be a Debbie Downer just a bit......the music sucked and so did the fade out to credits. That final minute could've been so much better, so much soapier with proper background music and editing. I think it's time to move on and get a new music composer, music directors, and editors.  Bring in people who know how to produce a soap.
