Malcolm-Jamal Warner is already on a prime-time TV series. 

I think one of the other people (@StopDeerHunting) might have been asking either about appearing on Y&R or something to do with KSJ (the original tweet seems like it was removed).

Angela interjected that he was already on a show (The Resident) and Warner was agreeing with her but thanking the original poster for thinking of him?  I guess Malcolm-Jamal Warner was being diplomatic.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner has never been on a soap and I doubt he'd do one now.  His career is busy and soaps are not what they used to be.

I think folks are getting carried away. 

Malcolm-Jamal Warner knew Kristoff St. John since their days at The Cosby Show (at the very least) and was commenting on the quality type of person KSJ was.  In terms of the other comment, I think he was simply being diplomatic to someone on twitter, who likely was also getting ahead of him or herself but no, I don't believe he has any intention of appearing on Y&R or any of the daytime soaps.  He's already in primetime.

It's no problem, tbh.  I think the fact that the original tweet was removed by its owner is likely what led to the confusion.  I just took it as Malcolm-Jamal Warner expressing his condolence.

I'm sure the service will be packed to overflowing. Hopefully, many happy memories will be shared.
