This damn day just gets worse and worse.

I saw Debbie Allen’s tweet (and I get the sense she’d know for sure), but I couldn’t find any other confirmation. I always err on the side of skepticism of news these days (remember how several outlets jumped the gun on Tom Petty?)

This morning, while showering, I started singing "Somewhere Out There" for no reason...or so I thought.

 

RIP Mr. Ingram.  Thanks for all the wonderful music.  You will be missed.

I was just reading that his duet with Michael McDonald Yah Mo B There was used in a scene during an episode of The Young & The Restless that aired in 1984.

It’s crazy James was only a couple of years younger than Stevie Wonder, who has had a longer career on account of Stevie starting out as a child. 66 is no age, in any case.
