I enjoyed today's show. Especially the dinner with the Deveraux family. I thought that dinner was entertaining. It was filled with awkward moments and the kids were kind of standoffish with Jack at points, but I liked seeing the family spend time together again. I laughed at how upbeat and upfront Jack was about how taking Chad's money was a big factor in him going to the dinner with his family.

And I liked when they remembered living in London together and Jack and Jen talking to each other when their kids left. They still have nice chemistry together.

Also, I wonder what the Haley's secret is. Trask seemed kind of cold to her and didn't seem super concerned that Haley tried to kill herself.

Missy Reeves sparkles once again, she truly seems to be happy MA is back. I haven't seen her like this in YEARS, I love it!

Yeah the family dinner was good and Jack spitting his drink out at the thought of marry Eve LMAO

I have no problem admitting that Jack's return is the reason I'm watching full episodes again, rather than just trying to catch either clips of the characters I care about or being satisfied with summaries or comments on here.

Quite frankly, given the way the scene was going, I really was expecting Jack to admit that he'd turned Chad's money down and then showed up for dinner anyway, but I don't mind that my expectation wasn't the case. Given that Eve's been whispering in his ear for weeks (at least), why would someone who had no first-hand memories of these people want to spend time with them? Not even taking into account how Abby and (eventually) JJ championed Dr. Tan-Man-Retconned-Egg-Baby-Could-Do-No-Wrong-Served_As-A-Reason-To_EscortHot-AssGregVaughan-Off-This-Show-RAGEBLACKOUT-Nicole and Eric-BLACKOUT- I'm just happy that Jack isn't actively fighting against or hostile to these strangers who are claiming to be his family. He's not giving them any false hope, but he accepts certain things and he wants to know what he's missing and what he's missed since he's been gone.

I hesitate to give Ron credit this early (I'm still burned from what he ultimately did to AJ), but so far he is nailing Jack's return from the dead with amnesia without making anyone look like a complete asshat in the process.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that maybe they're not making this custody battle over Nicole's daughter into one of these year-long stories. Move everyone along, no one's interested in a custody battle at this point anyway.

I'm not at all interested in Eve and her agenda, but I have to give Kassie DePaiva credit here. The scene with her alone looking at the contract made me wonder just for a split second if she might just decide to give up her vendetta against Jennifer and opt for a fabulous life in Paris, and on the disgusting Dimeras' dime at that. I really haven't been impacted, at all, by this incarnation of Eve until now, but those few seconds made me root for her to just let it go and go live a great life.

I'm wondering what the writers are going for with Haley. It's not IMPOSSIBLE for an undocumented immigrant with a clean record while here to apply for a good number of things to keep her here if she continues to keep her nose clean while she's here. Get politics the fudge out of here, it's not a good look for you, Days. And if Trask is a DA while being undocumented, well... Even the US government and its endless employees isn't that incompetent... OR ARE THEY?? Is that the question?

I'm glad Jack brought me back. This show is fun, while the rest seem to be just desperate at this point.

I was going to say the same thing about Missy Reeves, but I decided it seemed like I wasn't happy with her beforehand (which is not true).

Thanks for saying it for me!

Matt Ashford is a treasure. Maybe this is the stint Ken Corday realizes it?

I have to say, I thought Marci Miller was a good actress, but I have been loving having Kate Mansi back as Abigail. I feel like Mansi just "gets" what it means to be a good soap actress, and she makes the perfect younger leading lady. I haven't enjoyed Abby this much in a long time. I wish she were sticking around!

Ingo Rademacher and Kyle Lowder are going to the same tanning salons. So leathery.

Casey Moss’s body is... ok, I guess?

Personally I think pretty much every guy under 50 on the show, save Freddie and maybe Greg, is fitter, but to each one’s own. Not that he’s not good-looking.

I hope it's spray tan. Lord knows they coat the men in bronzer on B&B, so I think Ingo's is a mix of many years in the sun along with B&B's extra layer inch of body bronzer. Similar to Dancing with the Stars back in the day.

I could see it being spray tan. But they are both so gaunt and whatever they are dabbing on their faces settles into lines and ages them.

JJ's furry chest was the highlight of the show. I'm so happy more guys are going natural with that. It looks so much better than all that waxing!

Will & Sonny giving each other chaste pecks on the lips. While hiding from Leo was silly. Poor JJ is stuck with Haley. Who shows no signs of a personality. Must they always make Abe so insufferable? Leo continues to be a blast to watch. Whether trying to have sex with Xander or making fun of Sonny's suit. Sarah has way more chemistry with Xander. Then she does with Eric & Rex.  mxEV0C3.jpg
