I thought Scott Clifton did a great job, but yeah. Liam's a punk.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was giving us the Tammy Faye Bakker tarantula tears. She's great, though. B&B has an awesome group of actors they absolutely waste 95 percent of the time or miscast.

I watch for the comedy of it.  Maybe steffy doesn’t know if she could be the Mother or not? Could that be why her Doctor ordered a standard Paternity test?  To see if she would be the Mother??? And you can always tune in to see the awful Don Diamont yell - “Nooooooooo!!!!!”  Like he did when he blew up his own son or apparently when he finds out his son knows he banged his wife.  Maybe Quinn AND Sheila changed the paternity results!?  Lolll.  And what is the non-story of Maya?  Get rid of her.  Now we have Carter professing - hey - if things ain workin out for you girl, I’m still here!  What is with these hot men going googly over googly eyed Maya?  Character is irrelevant and was wrecked when they wrote no drama and everyone accepted the Myron.  Not real world.   The “lead model” of Forrester was a guy and everyone loved it and no Papparazzi in LA, nor anywhere she travels.  Now Carter is crawling back up in her non-womb.  So stupid and gross.

Nope. I believe she has wanted to bang Bill for years (and they had a shitload of chemistry back in the day). However, as Taylor's daughter, she knew that doing his greasy ass while shacked up with his do-gooding son needs a 'viable' justification. Otherwise, people might compare her to Brooke!

It is incredible how much she was crying but her makeup and lipstick never moved. That stuff is permanently tattooed!

I FFed through Maya's boring convo with Carter and anything involving Wyatt because his high-pitched voice is

Brooke as conceived by Bill Bell was a fascinating character -- a hopeless romantic who confused sex for love... an ambitious chemist determined to make it to the top... a scrappy anti-heroine who made no apologies for loving male companionship and getting Stephanie's repressed ass mad as hell.

Steffy spent all her adult life basically saying she would never be like trashy Brooke, that she was class and balls like her grandma (she also didn't hesitate to call her mother a weakling in so many words). Now she's getting herself into the same hot water that Brooke used to back in the 90s -- and sticking to members of the same family, too.

    • Like a lot of soaps, once relatives left, they kinda dropped off the face of the earth and out of conversations. I don't know why writers do that. If they just don't want to confuse viewers, or don't think it matters, or want the liberty kind of revise history to make their stories work. After Josh left in '84, he's barely mentioned. Even when Billy's railing against Kyle and refusing to accept him, it'd be the most natural thing in the world to say "Kyle's NOT by brother, JOSH is!" and I don't think he ever really says that.  The only writer I can recall who didn't do that is Doug Marland on ATWT.
    • IIRC, there is a line during this time period where Reva says something like Marah is her first-born child, which fans were not thrilled with.  Dylan makes a few appearances through the rest of the show (and a much later recast that isn't really worth talking about, with a face that is familiar to you). He will make one briefly during 1997, if you get that far.
    • Another great episode.  GH has been pretty good this year, loading up the chamber, because now there's many bullets to fire, and another one was fired today when Nina found out Michael is the father of Sasha's baby.  I hope this secret comes out at the hearing.  I've also liked the slow burn with Gio/Emma. There's just so many things to look forward to on this show now.  GH is finally back to being really good.
    • I'm all for it. Get them Nina!

    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
