Having mental health issues isn't really the same thing as mental illness. I'm not saying he has a chronic condition, but he did give off the vibe of someone in a state of distress and in need of help.

Maybe I'm a sucker, but I feel sorry for Will Smith. Hopefully, he won't get in real trouble for this. Obviously I feel bad for Chris and Jada too. It's just an all around mess.

He won't. It will likely be talked through between the two of them.

Just very awkward to see.

The NY Post already has pics of Will Smith and Chris Rock making up at an after party.

That’s an old photo. Will didn’t change clothes that quickly. The captions says “are expected to”—it’s speculative. What a strange article.

Yeah i did a google image search.  That pic of Will and Chris is from the world premiere of "The Matrix" Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in the Westwood section of Los Angeles.

Jada has spoken about this on her Red Table Talk and before that Essence magazine.

Still, an assault on live television...

That's exactly what it was. Appalling.

I generally find both Will and Jada to be two of the most repulsive, and phony people in Hollywood, so no, I won't condone Will's assault on live television just because he's a star. Anyone else would have been reprimanded by security and taken out of the ceremony.

Jessica Chastain's speech was so amazing.

It is no mystery to me that the Best Actress learned about humanity from her experience making her film and the Best Actor only gained a distorted perspective about himself.

The Smith "family" for you!
