Shes absolutely perfect and she woulz bring Victorias bitchiness and sass thats missing.

I completely agree. I wish it would happen. I know I would love it and be on board for the character to be excellent. It also doesn't hurt she is beautiful too.

They are taking Phyllis back to her roots where she belongs.

They changed her ever since they recast her just like Billy too.

My vote since Gina was miscast as Phyllis is Sarah Brown.  Dye her hair Claudia brown (best she ever looked), and back the Emmy tuck up to her house.

GT is just fine (actually more than fine) as Phyllis. She's one of the few soap actresses with the range to play most anything. It's the writing that's doing her no favors.

So is Y&R really going to waste time putting Ben with Victoria, when he clearly has chemistry with Ashley? I don't care if it is a ONS, why waste time like that? Given time, I could see something evolving between Ashley and Ben since there was an initial attraction until revulsion set in with Ashley toward Ben.

She's a fantastic actress.  She's just not old enough for Phyllis.  My opinion, I get that.  But I watched the show during both prior women in the role and Daniel as a viable leading young man.  GT will never work for me as Phyllis.

Oh how I wish I could believe it, but this Is nowhere near 'classic' Phyllis. It's not like Phyllis spiked a drink, locked them in a room, etc. GT had been horribly wasted for all but a few months (when Philly teamed against Victor) during her 3 years.

GT's Phyllis reminds me a lot of GT's Dinah. Too calm and level-headed for crazy characters, but likeable enough that you almost don't mind.

Sorry but when I see GT I don't see Phyllis. She was miscast.

I agree.  She's Dinah Marler (Wendy was the superior of the 2, however) on YR.  The deSORASing of the character did not help.  Gina is a fine actress but Phyllis is not 40 and I just don't quite see an edge with the character now.

Gina just won a freaking emmy against the toughest competition this year which Heather Tom, Laura Wright, Jess and Nancy. Gina is almost 44 years old shes a few years younger then michelle stafford. Gina is a fabulous actress who has now been on YR three years. Sally has given her nothing to do but parade around LA with Julie Chen. Its a joke and Mal Young raved about Gina. She isnt going anywhere at all. Sarah Brown would be horribly miscast as Phyllis way too hard edged in that part couldnt see her at all. Just give Gina some f%%%king material.for god sakes. No wonder Gina doesmt miss Sally. Nobody does and her horrific ratings.
