Eric shocks everyone by hiring her as Forrester's new head designer to replace Thomas since Morgan claims to have changed. That sounds so sadly plausible on this show 20 hours ago, Soapsuds said: He has been doing that since the Myron fiasco and hoping that something sticks and nothing has. His writing has been atrocious! Yep! It sure has been
June 18, 20178 yr Member Brad Bell ruined the fascinating character of Brooke Logan by having her marry someone twice a year for no aparent reason for more than a decade. He had her involved in very distasteful storylines like sleeping with everyone related to Ridge (except John Forrester) and the boyfriends and the husbands of her sisters and daughters. She even got pregnant by her son-in-law and gave birth to his baby. We knew she was a slut but she was very loyal to her sisters and her children. Once that was gone the character was ruined. Unlike other soap vixens from the wrong side of the tracks who wanted to marry rich, Brooke studied and became a chemist. She created BeLieF. She took over FC because her formula brought the Forresters a lot of money and they tried to cheat her out of it. Brooke and Maya scenes should be gold. She had a problem with Amber, but didn't mind her son marrying a post-op straight out of prison?? She might benefit from Taylor's return, but once Brad turned her into a slut as well there was no antithesis between the two anymore. Brooke and Quinn share no history, no interesting reason for a feud there and HT's arrival as someone who claims to be Katie Logan also didn't help KKL's part on the show.
June 18, 20178 yr Member I gasped when Sheila showed up the other day, the soapy joys of being unbothered and spoiler-free.

June 18, 20178 yr Member @Elsa Yes Brooke should be wary of Myrna with her history. And they could have great scenes with that. However, Brad made choice to have everyone on canvas - even her rival C2 - unconditionally accept her. Huge mistake - only Julius was brought on with a different view - but his character is dismissed as being bitter and majorly flawed.
June 19, 20178 yr Author Member Seriously though, if they wanted a good twist, they would have someone gaslight Quinn and make her think she's going crazy. The person would make it seem like someone was still trying to kill her. Quinn would still think it were Katie but other suspects would include Sheila, Pam, Brooke, Liam. Ultimately we would learn and find out that it was none other than...... Aly! She's been in a coma for a long time, and woke up only to learn that Eric was married to Quinn. In order to protect her family, she thought the best way to get rid of her was to let everyone continue thinking he was dead so she could take care of Quinn behind the scenes Edited June 19, 20178 yr by Cheap21

June 19, 20178 yr Member It was honestly B&B's last great era. I could not miss a show back then. Everything went downhill with Aly's death and has not recovered since.
June 19, 20178 yr Member I hated the Thorne/Darla pairing, but I miss Aly. The character had so much potential, but Brad decided to keep Ivy around.. Perhaps it was Deveney Dixon who shot Quinn
