Yes, and further proof that Roseanne needed the show back much more than Laurie did.

Good for the cast and crew that they are getting another spin off. It sounds like they may kill Roseanne off. I could see them saying she died during surgery. In the season finale of the reboot she mentioned being afraid to die during the surgery. Her and Dan talked about her fears of this and talked a little about what would happen if something happened to one of them.  I think it would be sad and poignant if that indeed ends up happening.

 

Though, I don't know how they would explain her absence if she didn't die, especially with the rest of the cast returning.
