My bet is that Brad has realized that only Shirley aka Sally1 (notice the evolution in her wigs and attitude), Sally2 and maybe CoCo are worth keeping.

NuSaul turns stalker psycho leading to Thomas rescue/reunion with S2 - but WyNot will already be in picture by then. Darlita will just stop appearing and no one will miss her.

And when Quidge blows up, Widge and Quinn end up at Spectra during their temporary exile and round and round it will go.

Soaps never write for the characters you want to and if they do its usually just crumbs or an awful story.

Bradley Bell wrote for Thomas and Sally because that's what he wanted as a couple NOT what the audience wanted. He doesn't take into consideration his audience. Reminds me of Christopher Goutman and his time at ATWT.

Its money she doesnt have. CJ mentioned that on the show. She likely charged the Spectra credit card for all that, hoping things would turn out in her favor later

What I dont get is how she could even pull off a fashion show considering no one showed up last time bc they thought she was a joke. Any reputation she had was ruined by the review, so why would all the press take her seriously enough now to make this event a thing?

She's now the one pushing a reluctant Sally to use Coco to steal the designs and use them. She also pushed Sally to break up with Thomas. Hmm is it a break up if you've had one date? Anyway, she told Sally about Caroline and the baby and made it seem like Sally wasn't good enough for Thomas because he had a baby with a socialite.

Shirley is coming across too over the top and they run the risk of turning her into a cartoon which isnt too far off since they dress her like a Disney villian

on a side note this is the best Sally has ever looked. See this is what I said when she first came on. They would slowly have her less tacky and turn her into generic soap heroine now that she's fallen in love. She'll be out by fall. She's already lost her fire

her at her last show

They are turning her into Sally1, who was total OTT character. Hence, whey PD should've cast as Sally1. She would've been perfect. I know Brad loves his fantasy that Sally1 is devouring these young studs all over the world, but recasting Sally1 and having her push Sally2 would've been far more compelling and believable as she manipulated CoCo, blah, blah, blah. Oh, and if Brad wanted to live his full-figured granny pouncing on young studs, PD played that part to perfection on DAYS.

And $B is the mustache twirling evil threat, which is beyond dumb on so many fronts. So what if he takes that space? You mean to tell me there aren't plenty of warehouses that Spectra could either rent/buy? Especially since $B is willing to pay TOP $$$ for the current property? It's completely illogical to create this false external threat. There are at least a half dozen holes in this forced story. It's bad.

So Jared figured out they are FC knock-offs...Will $B be impressed by Spectra now that they've screwed The Dressmaker?

They've definitely changed Shirley up and I think Patrika could have played Sally1 just fine as much as I floved Darlene Conley.

Brads mistake too is once again an insta romance between Sally2 and Thomas. Thomas being straight is also another problem.

I think Patrika is one of the bright spots on B&B right now. Bradley stealing her from Days was great but can he capitalize on her talents.

I flove Nu Saul too. They should make him realize the reason he really hates Thomas is not because he has a thing for Sally but because he has a crush on him.

I haven't seen B&B in a year but I really enjoyed today's episode with the Spectra fashion show.

I disagree that OG Sally should have been recast with Patrika Darbo - that part is Darlene's and OG Sally was her creation. I'm glad Brad chose not to recast. I enjoy Patrika's Shirley because she has many shades of Nancy Wesley circa 1998.

Good to see Mick Cain as CJ.

Now you know that'll never happen. Look at how Brad handled Maya's transgender story. Honestly, as a gay man, I don't want him touching another story involving my community as he sucks a**.

When it comes to the Spectras though, dare I say it, but I wish they'd just finally kill Sally off. No use in continuing to act like she's alive abroad.

    • I'm surprised it took me this long to get into RH. The soap is so damn good, I am just as obsessed with the Ryan's as Delia. The Ryans are a great family unit and seem like good people. I wish I had a family like that. This show has so many parallels to BTG. Frank's mystery is very similar to Martin's. Both are my favorites on each show. adding more thoughts soon once I get a consistent watch going.
    • I also get why Gio feels his life was a lie. I get everyone's emotions are high now That's why I think Monica passing will be the catalyst that starts to the healing process for Gio, BLQ, Lois, Tracy, Ned, Olivia and Dante
    • Judging by the fact that I was able to watch two episodes today, looks like Canada being a day ahead might be permanent.
    • Agreed! I normally don't rate Amanda Setton that highly as an actress, but she knocked those scenes out of the park. Between this and the Michael storyline, I think we're in for a week of juicy drama. I heard everyone talking about how dull Rory Gibson was on Y&R, but I thought he was pretty good today playing a steelier version of Michael. And I loved Wiley's little "Bye mommy!" moment. The writers clearly know how much most of us hate Willow if they're tossing out little nuggets of schadenfreude like that one.
    • Slower day, but not bad. I thought Tomas was at his personal best today, flirting with Kat at Uptown.  Hayley is pregnant!  Oh boy... Samantha felt more like the babysitter today vs. the young sister. I'm ready to meet Sharon. I want a strong dynamic so it's not a repeat of what we just saw with Tracy's reunion.
    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
