If memory serves me (badly), even though Smith was the Head Writer I think Sally Sussman Morina was Story Consultant, so may have had a hand in some of what was going on. Plus I've read (on here, actually) several times over the years that she basically took 'credit' for the poisoned necklace.

Is SSM going to find a way to make Jill a Foster again? That entire unFostering is a ridiculous blight on Jill's entire history! 

How about an umbrella storyline of Jill gets life threatening cancer?  Jess would do well with this storyline its right up her alley.

Yeah well Michelle Stafford ain't even on the show anymore and Phyllis is currently up Jacks ass. Phick is so over. Y&R finally learned their lesson and stopped trying to make them happen.

With that logic, neither did Sharon. It's not ok to Sharon to lie, when the kid isn't even Nick's and she doesn't know that. But it's ok for Chelsea to not only lie to Nick but let Faith, Noah and her own child be lied to about having/not having a sibling?
