I agree with this, although I did enjoy the get-together, the celebration, and the dancing. Do I wish we got a little more drama/heated dialogue there? Yeah. A dozen opportunities for that existed.
-- The ambient crowd noise at Uptown was way too loud. Meanwhile, there was none at the country club. Apparently, Vanessa and Leslie were the only ones there.
-- I'm again side-eyeing Nicole. When Kial mentioned his concern about Deanna, Nicole went to "But Noah is a musician" -- as if that's comparable in any way to what Deanna is going through and the way she's behaving.
-- The Noah fanboying over Anita was too much. OK, I get it. Tamara is the star and Anita is a queen. But does everyone have to applaud wildly all the time? I just don't think it's necessary or believable.
-- Can we get some color on Nick Hagelin (Noah)? He's so pale he looks like he's part of some zombie apocalypse.
-- I still don't understand how this Noah person can competently run a medical clinic.
-- Interesting conversation between Vanessa and Leslie, although it's a head-scratcher as to why Vanessa would offer advice, let alone sit through Leslie's insults.
-- I did choke when Vanessa said, "Everything I do, I do for my family."
-- Kat continues to look like a better detective than anyone on the police force.
