Honestly Kristen Alderson should play Abigail she would be a great successor to the great Kate Mansi. She has the sex appeal and drive to play Abigail. Young characters on soaps are not well developed to need someone with soap experience and there aren't that many soaps left so recast characters are usually newcomers.
