January 15, 20169 yr Member ROBERT SCOTT WILSON TO RETURN TO "DAYS" LATER THIS YEAR... As has been rumored in recent months, Robert Scott Wilson will be returning to "Days of Our Lives" as Ben Weston later in the year. Viewers have not yet seen the last of Salem's notorious serial killer yet.
January 15, 20169 yr Member Im assuming he is going to kidnap Abby so they can recast the role….or give the actress in the role now her exist story.
January 16, 20169 yr Member I am glad. I don't know that he is a great serious actor, but he really does well at soaps. He was good on AMC as the perfect leading man, and he was good on DOOL as this deranged killer. He just tries to sell whatever it is the show is selling, and he would be an asset to any soap and seemingly in any kind of role, romantic or otherwise.
January 19, 20169 yr Member I'm sure it's just for a short arc. Perhaps this is going to help segue a brief Abby exit until they recast. We shall see what 2017 brings...
January 19, 20169 yr The writers should've killed Ben. I hope Ben doesn't escape and kill more people. Edited January 20, 20169 yr by victoria foxton
January 19, 20169 yr Member They'll probably explain away Ben's crimes as the result of a split personality or brain tumor.
January 21, 20169 yr Member I can see both of those. Nah on kidnapping baby. That would just put Chad/Abby on a holding pattern until she exits with happy ending ready.
January 21, 20169 yr Member Weird to think we won't be seeing him until July at the earliest, but probably even as late as August?
January 21, 20169 yr Member They'll probably explain away Ben's crimes as the result of a split personality or brain tumor. He never had a personality to begin with.
January 21, 20169 yr Member The on-air timing of his return is around the time Kate Mansi would be exiting as Abby. It's also around the same time Matt Ashford appears as Jack. I don't know that Wilson is back permanently. Maybe he is and Abby leaves town (until her recast pops up)? LOL
