Omg ugh!!! This makes me feel so sick. JPL can't act and he's never even been attractive. I detest Carlivati even more than most of the people on here but JPL was always unbearable. Kyle Brandt's a bad actor but JPL is even worse and at least Brandt's attractive.

The only positive is that this is the perfect way to actually make me support Shawn/Belle.

JPL as a Will recast wouldn't have surprised me considering that every actor that has ever played Will has been abysmal.

I really liked JPL on OL the first few years when Rex was kind of a cad and scoundrel. It went dowhill for me around the time of the Adriana pairing...and then the incessant facial expressions/Gigi-Stacey crap.

This is hilarious. What a terrible idea.

That being said, in fairness, AFAIK JPL is the furthest thing from a male diva. For all his pop-eye histrionics onscreen, he's always come off very shy and unassuming in the public eye - I know people who knew them offscreen and they said Farah used to push him around and wear the pants in their relationship, just as she did on their reality show. (They said other stuff too, but that's another story.) JP has seemed fairly content these last few years not to work, just to hang out with Tuc Watkins and uh, co-parent his children, rock climb, keep house... you know, like you do. He seems like a very quiet guy.

But wow. Bad idea.

Wasn't he a part of Farah's alleged issues with the other actors in their story in 2009? I could swear one or both of them even talked about tanking scenes if they didn't like a story.

I used to love him opposite Catherine Hickland. He didn't start his ticky, annoying [!@#$%^&*] until RC forced him into the leading man role.

That being said, he's hot and I think with the right direction and writing, he could do fine.
