I too hope Leslie could stick around (am I the only one who thinks Leslie could benefit from some bangs?), maybe she and Neil could actually build a friendship. I don't want to see the affair thing because Neil's done that and it's so redundant. I think even a friendship between exes would be anough of a challenge to Leslie's current relationship-- but that would be assuming that TPTB even care about Leslie and her new husband or even Neil for that matter but to me, it could provide some interest to see Leslie be a friend to Neil as he rebuilds his life, while everyone around them (including Leslie's husband) wonder whether their are still feelings there.

One other thing about the Devon/Hillary/Chancellor idea. Not to say that Hillary would be deliberately manipulating Devon. It would be more like when she felt the need to protect him from Esmeralda and even Mason (remember them?) because she felt she was more adept at seeing when people had ulterior motives and predatory instincts. I'd like the angle of Devon feels that Hillary wants to help him claim his legacy and of course, Hillary feels that Devon needs someone to help him do that, and with her business acumen and naturally devious nature, she is best suited to help Devon navigate the shark infested waters of corporate America. Jill will think, and tell Devon, that he is whipped and she'll believe that Hillary is just a naked opportunist, Devon will remind Jill that she broke the first tenet in their agreement (that Colin have nothing to do with Chancellor). Let the power struggle begin. Meanwhile, the Abbotts and the Newmans are involved in doppelganger foolishness, Jill could angle to wrangle the Men's Line from Jabot (or partner with Jabot) to revive the line and behind Hillary and Devon's back, who does she introduce as the New & Improved Men's line's first signature model? You got it, Mason!

This story practically writes itself.

I like the idea of Leslie but the actress doesn't pop. She walks around with a stick up her ass and she has like one expression, stank. I would recast Leslie and Devon. When Shemar Moore left, the show seemed to just give up on a sexy leading man type for the Winter's. With the exception of Tyler, all the men that have rotated thru, including Leslie's "new" husband are boring imo. That's bad because Neil is not exactly a ball of fire on screen. Shemar was, so they played well off each other. The show should replace current Devon with someone who is not laid back in the least. Not whiny and not a pu$$y in other words. Then I could see him going up against Jill and Colin, two more dynamic characters and actors. The other problem is that MM is pregnant and due in August according to her twitter. I'm happy for her but sad for the show as she will probably be taking a long leave.

Sage is great. It's so nice to see Nick relaxed and happy. He is with a woman who is intelligent, strong and does not need to be rescued, saved and protected all the darn time. MAB and her team weren't the only writers to have unbridled contempt for Sharon. lol

I agree about Sage, celine12, but I don't think you have to have contempt for Sharon to like Sage. The writers don't see to know what to do with Sharon, what direction to take her in and it shows in her disjointed story line. The other thing I like about Sage is girl knows how to do a love scene. Sick is sick in bed.

Fake Jake is the bomb. Kelley can keep old Jack AFAIC and they can ride off into the sunset.

It's unbelievable how bad this show has become so quickly. This kidnapping thing will last forever. And just my prediction - fake Jack will be the one to divulge Adam/Gabe to VICTUHHHH so that VICTUHHHH wins AGAIN! Because fake Jack doesn't know about Adam/Gabe...so Adam will talk about himself to fake Jack and then Fack will run and tell Victuhhhhhhh. And what could have been FINALLY a blindsided Victuh will be ruined. My only hope is that they somehow salvage this story and have it be Adam/Gabe that uncovers fake Jack. We'll be watching all of this dreck all Summer....count on it. And like I posted before - I've never seen the magic that others see with Cady...I've never liked her in any role she's ever played. I think she's a horrible actress...IMO it ain't the writing.

They have replaced the cabin mystery with Jack/Yack story. Now it's on every day stinking up the place.

Every black woman on the show doesn't have to be Drucilla nor does every black man have to be Malcolm. Build a bridge and get the !@#$%^&*] over it!

ROFL Piper. I like Leslie, btw, but this was too funny biggrin.png

Yeah, it seems the Cabin Bunch Kids have taken a backseat to Yack. At least for now. How does one decide between these two storyline winners?!?! whistling.jpg

Sharon write someone off? lol! The Newmans cannot get rid of her. The idiot doesn't have an ounce of pride or self respect because she clings to the Newmans no matter how much they dislike her or how badly they treat her. I was so proud of my girl Phyllis. When she and Nick broke up for good, she left the ranch, moved back into HER penthouse, and restarted her career without looking back.

DD has a very valid point in Stitch...he was interesting once. It quickly resulted in character overload. That mistake doesn't need to be repeated.

Plus the Boretoria factor doesn't help, every guy in her orbit gets ruined.

Yeah. After months of begging, pleading, and scheming to get Nick back herself. Phyllis is no better than Sharon. If anything, she is just as worse. This is the same woman that had to lie about the paternity of a child to get a man.

I doubt that even Shemar's Malcolm would survive the atrocious writing over the last 6 or 7 years on this show. He left in 2005, when the writing was just starting a very slow but steady decline.

Thank you.

Can they get rid of Grandpa Burges? He was just awful today and is too darn old for the part.

Is Betty Rea still alive? Someone who can cast? The brother of Heather Tom was better than this guy. He's awful. Hire some actors or let the ones you HAVE be ONSCREEN. You DO have some actors with chops on this show...I KNOW YOU DO. STOP creating stories with people no one cares about.

I think Old Man River has actually improved - he has great snark with Justin Hartley - but he is still way too old and way too wrong.

The writers don't see to know what to do with Sharon, what direction to take her in and it shows in her disjointed story line.

To the contrary: They have never had any problem knowing what to do with Sharon. They know very well. It's very simple: Write her completely out of character, dump incredible amounts of chit on her, have nearly everyone hate her and have her make every bad decision imaginable. Also, blame her even though she's mentally ill.

The story doesn't matter. At all. As long as it casts Sharon in the most unfavorable light possible. And that's their direction.

Yeah. After months of begging, pleading, and scheming to get Nick back herself. Phyllis is no better than Sharon. If anything, she is just as worse. This is the same woman that had to lie about the paternity of a child to get a man.

Yep. And if Phyllis truly moved on, it's only because of the insane suckfest the writers (especially MAB) bestowed on Phyllis & that Giggling Chompin' Red Haired Terror who played her.

This story is as universally panned as the cabin story.

:D
