Oh come on, it's not that bad!

I can understand the intention behind it. They're trying to make him look like what a man in fashion would look like.

The issue is not only with the weird colors, patterns and combinations thereof, though, but also with how stuffy he looks. These tight shirts with the tie don't look good on an average height man with bulky muscle. They exacerbate his size in all the bad ways, almost as if he's about to burst out of his clothes.

Rick should be seen shirtless, working out at the gym, outside of work[and yes shirtless] because he rarely isn't working. Everyone else has a personal life, but Rick is only ever at work. I hope he at least walks in on Ridge and Caroline somewhere other than Eric's office!

JK about him being dressed as badly as Granny Jennifer, but today's outfit was ugly as **it!

For once I don't think Hope is not acting like a whiny brat. I mean she expressed serious concern and objection to Quinn whilst Wyatt said nothing. Nada.

So Deacon's and Quinn's master plan was to squeeze themselves into Hope's life THE NEXT DAY. More precisely: They thought Hope would change her mind completely THE NEXT DAY. Major thumbs up to Rena Sofer for saying the same lines over and over for two weeks now. ANd she still is verry good at it. LOL

Monday was a great show! Classic soap :)

I do appreciate Hope standing up for herself, but I'm burned out on the characters despite really liking KM. It's a lot like the way I feel about Brooke. I'm enjoying her time in Italy because I know when she comes back I'll like the character more for the rest.

How funny. I never even questioned it. I hate the way Marion talks to Carter. I doubt they'll ever bother to give him another love interest, but I wish he'd find someone else and rub it in her face when she ends up alone. I can't even enjoy her as a gold digger (which I normally love) because of the way she puts him down.

    • I don't think Chelsea has a true label just yet. She's just finding out she has an interest in women. I think the awkwardness is aligned with the character as we've seen. This is the fool who keeps filming her family when embarrassing things happen and live streaming it. I actually think it's refreshing she isn't just jumping into a relationship  and that they're playing the beats of her trying to figure out who she is.
    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set it ablaze?). Victoria briefly moved into the ranch after the fire, with Claire, Johnny and Katie, I think? Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole then moved into the tack house as soon as Teriah left. I guess Victoria's children Johnny and Katie would live with Victoria at the tack house eventually? But Johnny and Katie went to boarding school during the school year. Not sure if we'll see Johnny and Katie for the summer vacation or where they would live.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
    • Garneau was in the Liberal party and his riding was in Montreal. He was the first Canadian in outer space.
    • I agree. I really have enjoyed this story from the beginning. I feel like it needed the time for us to care about Doug. They've done a nice job of explaining his motives and making me care for him. I still feel like he's doomed and Vanessa will end up being a widow and now I'm invested in that *not* happening now that I've fallen for him. Friday was good but so was the entire week. I think they're doing such a nice job of keeping things moving. We got good movement with Bill's story this week, Chelsea is attempting to date, Andre and Dani are having tough conversations about their relationship, of course Anita reunited with Sharon. There is *so* much going on and I didn't even cover all of it.  I wish all of the soaps would take a page out of BTG book and start rotating their stories. I love that everybody is getting a chance to shine and they don't just sit on one lead story to the point you get sick of it.
    • Did Jordan Clarke have a departure sometime between 1985 and 1989? I know Robert Newman had three runs: 1981-1984, 1986-1991, 1993-end.
    • Well, they usually weren't on the show at the time for long until the late 90's. But yeah, they really deserved a story centered on them, and not through the lens of Reva.
    • Chelsea was doing the absolute most today! Why was she introducing her sister to a woman she doesnt know? That whole scene was embarrassing. Madison needs to stay away from her bc she is too immature
