BREAKING NEWS! It has been confirmed that Molly Burnett WILL be coming back to DAYS to reprise her role as Melanie Jonas. Here is a quote from About.com.

"Days' Daniel had a phone chat with Melanie, last week, ending with his daughter telling him she was thinking about coming back to Salem for a visit. Is the soap laying the groundwork for Molly Burnett's return? In a word, yes. The actress has begun taping and will be reprising her role as Melanie later this year."

Why are they bringing this drab ass heffa back? Why? We already have one Jonas pest lurking around and eating up the show. We don't need another. Plus, this show needs more male characters (IMO). I'd rather Jeremy, Nathan, or Andrew return before she does.

LMAO, Touché. I swear it was before in one of those month long discussions about spoilers, not the daily episodes ones since I don't read those.

I always saw this, granted later than I predicted since she doesn't really get roles guest, recurring or otherwise. Fall back on what provided you with a steady paycheck I guess.

she was pretty good towards the end of her run. I hated her but grew to like her as she was leaving. I'm glad for this news

Damn. We all saw the writing on the wall, but.. damn. I am beginning to doubt this writing team's ideas... there are LITERALLY a hundred other Days characters I would choose to have back before her. SMH.

And who wants to bet that she probably signed a 4 year contract with a 4 episode/week guarantee!?
