I'm enjoying the Paul/Nikki/Dillon story, I like Leslie so whatever she's doing is good for me. that's pretty much it. I had hope for Devon not have feelings/ pining for Hillary; Neil not looking like a love sick idiot marrying her this quick but of course it was meant to be. I've always wondered about Stitch Kelly relationship since I am a fan of CW' and thought from the beginning shes related to him (his sister). Either the murder is military/medical related or he was involved in her kids death in some way. I got the feeling writing wasn't even sure how this would pan out. They were just figuring it all out esp since they said the direction of the character (Kelly) would change with this new actress in the part. What was the point of adding and wasting both Ray Wise and Camryn Grimes? You bring her back as a talented young woman, she actually signs a contract again after getting major film work like Magic Mike, and you tie her to Tyler and Abby? Really? Either Mariah's "redemption" will be turning away from Ian and his scheme or Sharon will save Mariah from Ian's clutches and help her snap out of the cult mentality. That's my guess. But yeah, this little plot point was verrrrry bizarre. And I must stress that I haaaaaaate Cane&Lily working at the GCAC. It is so pointless and makes zero sense 'cause Lily is still an aspiring big wig at Jabot, huh? The business aspect on this show is extremely deep in the sh*tters... But I digress, as I still ifnd the show a whole lotta better than most folks around here do (though June was a crap month the first two weeks). As for the new rooftop set: Why can't they use real outdoor sets on e.g. the roof of CBS Television City??? B&B shows that it is not that difficult and makes for stunning results. @ Chris B: the previous rooftop set of GCAC was one of Jack Smith's last accomplishments as executive producer and head-writer. They introduced and heavily used it in Summer 2005... The early Sheila story as well as lot of other stuff with the teens happened there. The set vanished after LML took over, I think. It just seems like more family infighting to me. But I am wait and see. I also think the show has vastly improved. But do I see it as Y&R? NO.
