Not really. He has Cassadine blood in him. What was unsettling for me was Spencer wearing Batman pyjamas! lol. That's something that the little townie wear, not a young Cassadine Prince.

That horrid Icona Pop cover was like an afterschool cheerleader practice. Somehow Kristen Alderson makes everything sound like Kidz Bop.

I thought the Mr. Marbles stuff at the rehearsal with Mac's mortified friends was funny, but the issue with making it some "big moment" with Epiphany is that this is something Ron does a lot - he manufactures these in-show in-jokes from, like, one other instance from his own writing (we only ever saw Mr. Marbles last year to my knowledge), he tries hard to make them happen and then everyone onscreen and everything in the scripts is like 'oh, everyone's been waiting for this for years, right, guys? What a big deal!'

He did this on OLTL a couple times - just making stuff up like it's always been a thing and trying to get everyone onboard. If he stopped pushing it in the script so hard as though it was such a big moment that we've all been waiting for, it probably wouldn't irritate me. Mr. Marbles is not some long-running gag, dude, calm down. I thought John J. York was very funny with it, but devoting scene after scene to everyone being like, 'thank God the nightmare of Mr. Marbles is finally over!' just feels like Ron mythologizing more of himself and his own not-so-distant past work. Like the endless repetition about the chupacabra gag which was never funny, or Heather's obsession with BLTs introduced two years ago. "Finally you know, audience!"

Why did Lucas and Felix act like such complete bitches? Felix is always a little bitch but Lucas came off REALLY bad, not even giving Brad a polite smile, standing up and leaving. Thank GOD it looks like Lucas might be giving into Brad, however.

OMG what childish, stupid treatment of Blackie. rolleyes.gif First, cheating the offline audience into thinking he is coming back. Then taking cheap shots at Stamos. Why why why are they so petty?

I am so here for Nathan and Maxie. Love them together. I need them to have nasty kitchen table sex.

Kaka singing/dancing again. GAH! What did we do to deserve so much pain? They also murdered a great pop song. And then Kuku is miraculously changed in time to attend the conversation between Ned, Luke and Tracy that was happening before her number even started? Great job, breakdown writer. Great job. And she was smiling, too! "Who is the traitor?" "My husband! biggrin.png" SOMEONE SLAP THE [!@#$%^&*] OUT OF HER.

God, I felt heartbroken for Mac. That did not make Epiphany come off good AT ALL. Horrible execution. All because she wants some penis?

Nikolas looks horribly bloated. Lay off the cheese dip, dude.

Spencer had to do something "bold and beautiful" rolleyes.gif So this is where Ronn Moss' career is at now? Singing for a kid on a soap opera. I'm telling you, he'll go back to BB BEGGING. And he looks really, really ugly. Damn.

That whole Blackie troll is not going to make sense to anyone except the people who follow Ron's shenanigans on Twitter. It had no place on the show onscreen. I had hoped they wouldn't recast the role and I'm glad they didn't, but the whole thing was just so stupid. It was a much, much lamer Nurses Ball than last year's, which I greatly enjoyed - because so much of this Ball is about Ron and Frank's private business or personal obsessions. More Obrecht, more Milo, more in-jokes we made ourselves, more Spencer, more settling IRL scores, and above all, more of Kristen Alderson who they've known for decades. That's not really a celebration of GH for GH - it just was a mess, IMO. Maybe they'll cap it nicely today, but I have my doubts.

I haven't seen any of TNB, but here's another example of where complete pettiness diminishes something that might be good for the show. I would have advertised "Baby Come Back, Player" as guest stars instead of trying to trick, shock, surprise the audience. Why must these 2 idiots insist on shocking folks into watching?!

That was a great song, but it was overshadowed by the audience wondering about worthless Blackie Parrish.

There were at least three scenes with Epiphany huffing and puffing after him, thirsty for some Milo dick. I personally thought one was enough. At one point their scenes were back to back without them breaking to talk to anyone else. She just found him again. "Twice in one night!"
