Sigh, with Ellen saying she's on her show with a big announcement, I figured it was her.

Really sad about this. She's DAYS' drama central. I dunno what they'll do without her. And she leaves when the show is at its best in years.

Is she going after a primetime career? Because, Lord would she be good on a sitcom!

At least she'll be airing through 2019.

The good news is she'll air well into 2016, while Ken Corday can then burn down the studio for insurance money in the interim. I'm not sure he knows how to run a DAYS without Sami.

I have to admit I thought she'd be there to the last episode of the show, especially since, realistically speaking, DAYS likely only has a few years left, and Biggest Loser is on the wane.

I wonder if Abby/EJ will be endgame now.

I won't be too surprised if Will is gone too by the end of next year.

I suspect she wants a break, and I can hardly blame her. I'm sure she'll be back eventually.

I have no idea how Corday expects to run the show without her; he's hinged it on her forever, to the detriment of other characters. I have no problem with Alison Sweeney but Sami has been overexposed. It's unimaginable because they've branded the show with her, up and down and sideways. It could be a very good change but I don't think Corday would know how to manage it.
