Franco's real twin who used to be is retarded.

Let's be real.

I think MM could really pull it off.

You are totally correct, it spread across the soap board and in the soap fan community, but it has only gotten legs in the mainstream press after TMZ got a hold of it. And ain't nobody doin sh!t to Angie... if she did leak it, I bet she did it with the blessing from the CBS brass who is sick of taking a beating for Muhney's firing.

I doubt she leaked it and CBS definitely wouldn't give her the blessing to do so because of the lawsuit potential.

The only comment I have about this is that...

I really really feel bad for Hunter. The way she is being treated by some people really makes me sick. It's not like she asked for it. No woman "asks" for it. That's all I have to say. As an assault victim myself (attempted rape...but, I never pressed charges) Personally, this makes my stomach churn.

This could have been reported 6 months ago, but it often takes a while for HR to investigate the matter and come to a conclusion. King may have filed her complaint with HR/show bosses 6 months ago, but they obviously had to investigate the matter, which meant Muhney was allowed to stay on until they could come to the conclusion that King's accusations had some girth to it and the show needed to fire Muhney in order to protect their asses from a serious lawsuit.

I've seen this happen all the time. Not everyone gets fired ASAP, especially when there's so many parties involved.

That could be the case in some situations but I hardly think it took 6 months to question witnesses to find out what happened.

LOL! True

I think a lot of people have never worked in large corporations so the HR process is unfamiliar. These companies are not going to fire someone on the spot when an allegation made. They have to be investigated so the company is not subjected to a lawsuit from either party. What if it is not true? Or it cannot be proven to be true? Usually, all steps are taken to monitor the individuals involved during the investigation process. In the case of Y&R, keeping HK and MM apart is very easy since they did not share scenes. The shooting schedule could have been arranged so they were never on set at the same time.

I work for the largest Human Resources company in the world (the 3 letter company) and have never seen a sexual harassment case take 6 months to solve when there are witnesses.

Franco's real twin who used to be retarded.

LOL They would do something like that on GH too.

That is to be expected. It is always the defense of a man who sexually abuses or rapes a woman. She wanted it. She flirted with him. Look what she was wearing. She wanted to be tied up. She wanted to be beat up. I could go on and on. However, I love that so many posters on the soap boards are rejecting these defenses for MM.

It really sickens me to watch these people attack this young girl.. this is why so many women do not report these kinds of nasty deeds.

I'd keep the character off for a year or more. Maybe 18 months, maybe 24, maybe longer.

When you bring him back, he has the extreme notoriety attached to both the character and the previous actor. Then you cast someone who's totally unlike Muhney. More vulnerable, more young-skewing, with the strange manchild naivete of Engen's Adam, but with the same darkness underneath. Surprise people. Shake 'em up.

But keep him gone for a good long while. There is plenty of housecleaning to do on this mess of a show.

I think the only way to bring back the Adam character now is to have the current Adam being an imposter..

It's sad to think that most of those losers would never think about raising any money for legitimate charitable causes.

They can do what they want, Sony and CBS will never employ this guy again and will make sure he's blacklisted.

Turns out a group of Y&R fanatics on Facebook pooled together $785 to pay for a banner that will soon fly over CBS Studios in Los Angeles with a message saying, "NO ADAM NEWBIE, JUST MICHAEL MUHNEY."

Would $785 pay for anything??

What a terrible slogan that is. They are coughing up cash for their favorite martyr and this is the best they can come up with?

How about: "HE WAS FIRED FOR OUR SINS" or "MY NAUGHTY PLACE SAYS KEEP HIS FACE!!!"

Given how popular MM is supposed to be, you would think that his fans could have done better than $785.
