I just kind of like that this is a different kind of quad for the show. We had years of Nick, Sharon, Adam, Phyllis, etc in triangles and quads. Who cares anymore? Victoria and Billy were a pretty safe couple for the most part. It could be interesting to see them truly be tempted by others. And we don't know these characters either so anything is possible in terms of their personalities. Hopefully it is done right. Something fresh finally.

Here is a promo for next week.

A least Chloe is starting to dress like she works is in fashion again...I liked her white dress for the christening.

What kind of pills are Summer taking. And why the heck is she so tired anyway? It's not like she is working two jobs or something.

Maybe but I haven't been all that impressed by the likes of Kelly yet. The only scenes I have really got a spark have been her snark at Stitch and she she had a meltdown from seeing Johnny. Everything has been bland and boring. But if she gets crazy than that might liven this story up. Victoria will be Victoria unless they allow her to be a true Newman bitch for once again. I mean lets be real... Victoria would use her power and influence to make Kelly's life miserable. That chick needs to come back since we are losing Adam anyways. Someone has to take over the Victor heir routine.

@Jcren. Then you're clearly not a CW fan. The only actor on this show that has the chops is the Billy they're letting go. I started watching again because of Cynthia Watros. This is the thing about Y&R fans...and I was one. I watched the entire CBS lineup for 25 years. And I would talk to people about the show and they would say that the show wasn't fast enough. It's boring. The show doesn't have any kind of pace or speed. You're ALL still saying it now. Y&R HAS NEVER been fast moving or had ANY kind of pace. Never. The beauty of Y&R was that you could tune in 1 or 2 years later and the same story was goin' on. And people torched As the World Turns and Guiding Light for having a gigantic cast and they couldn't keep up with it at times. So so funny.

Cynthia Watros is acting circles around everyone other than Billy whatever his name is. And he's leaving. That's a shame because after NOT watching for several years....I like a lot of the people all of you are griping about. This show has ALWAYS been so slow...all of my friends who watched ABC and NBC said they could never watch Y&R because General Hospital and Days of Our Lives had things happening every single day. So it's so funny that people are griping about Y&R being slow now - it's a problem. Y&R has ALWAYS been slow building. It took a YEAR or more for stories to find any kind of resolution and sometimes they never ever did! I stopped watching during the Drucilla/Neal/Olivia who the baby daddy years because it went on for YEARS.

    • Actually I think Ashley has OCPD, not OCD.  OCPD: https://iocdf.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/OCPD-Fact-Sheet.pdf OCPD and OCD are often confused in general conversation, which is totally understandable, even though they are different. And it doesn't really matter here, since this is a fictional character... and the show is highlighting Ashley's obsession with controlling every aspect of things.
    • Her voice reminds me somewhat of the late Carrie Donovan (best known for Old Navy commercials).. but she was big in the fashion world I believe.

date: Monday, May 19 | Ron Carlivati, Danielle Paige | Shelley Curtis Dani and Pamela are a hoot together at the casino; they're really giving me "go girl, get yours" vibes! Katherine is totally on the warpath and is pushing every single male away. Dana is single-handedly selling her daughter out, with the unknown help of Katherine's secret recording. I like seeing both Andre and Ted giving Eva the kind of family she never had with Dana. Oh, is Dani catching onto things where Douglas is concerned? Interesting. Derek is a moron, and Ashley continues to give me a "type A" personality, with a lot of anal retentiveness/OCD. And ew, he's a trash eater. So gross. Oh, Diego, go get it! Why do I feel like Pamela vs. Vanessa is about to become a thing! But get IT, Pamela! Get IT! Not Dana thinking she knows the law when Jacob checked her immediately. Tomas is a smooth talker, and I love it. Hell, even I would fall for him easily. So, Tomas went into the Navy to put himself through law school. Quite interesting. What a nice backstory. The sexual innuendo between Joey and Vanessa while Douglas is listening on is hilarious. It's very obvious Pamela and Vanessa are not friends at all, and that's something I'd love to see play out at some point. Yes, Derek, she wants your ass out. I want your ass out. I'd be throwing you, your ugly-ass named chair and everything else OUT of MY apartment! So, Vanessa let the cat out of the bag. That's interesting timing, but Douglas is still lying to her. Notes: Again, both Jon Lindstrom (Joey) and Cady McClain (Pamela) are in scenes together yet did not directly interact. Kudos to them for showing up and putting the professional work in.
    • I don't understand Cady either. I was looking forward to seeing her on this show, but unfortunately not the way she's currently playing Pamela. It seems cartoonish. Something this show doesn't need if it wants to be taken seriously. Why are they letting her do that?  I liked Vanessa initially, but they need to tone her down. Her hooking up and role playing with so many people is a turn off for her character for me. The Diego angle was fun. Should have left it at that. But all the others makes me have less sympathy for her.  If they are going to tinker with the cast (Ted), please consider Tomas and Derek. For me they are the two that pull the show down for me. A hot Eva/Tomas/Kat triangle could work with the right actor. I think Jen Jacobs might be better if she had a better storyline. I'd give her some time and thankfully Martin has improved.  Uh-oh Jacob!! Mama better not mess with you!
    • The accent is horrible. Today's episode is dry.  I feel bad for Derek. Homie said his breathing bothers her lol.
