Steve Hardy and Jessie Brewer simultaneously rolled over in their respective graves!

I get frank and ron's wink wink nod nod style of writing, but this is beyond ridiculous! First, they fired Monica from the hospital over bad press from her son? HELLO...she's a QUARTERMAINE! Their middle names are scandal. Relieving her of the COS job, maybe, but fired from the hospital...c'mon...?They need a vsit to the HR department. Sounds like Lee Baldwin should be suing the board on her behalf.

With the exception of Monica, NONE of the candidates made sense. It was ridiculous! Now watch the hospital get a lot of play now that it houses 5 Craptini created pets. O as COS is not funny, creative or soapy. Just another pet who gets to stay.

That whiny bitch, moRon, had the nerve to be especially sensitive yesterday because people didn't get his genius with this latest transgression against GH. ABC should have sold the rights to this show to the damn cartoon network!

LOL at McShit and KoKi being awkward around each other. That’s too painful for anyone to watch. So the recent connection she and Franco built was only done so that KeKu has a reason to allow Franco to hide in her apartment. Meh.

Julian is such a nasty piece of [!@#$%^&*]: "I’ll speak real slow so you can understand." GTFO, Mob Bitch. And the truth about Lucas and him came out so quickly--I expected them to at least drag it out a little bit but instead they are telegraphing plot points, skipping important beats and just quickly doing the absolutely necessary to keep the plot going. (But that's most of the show, if not all of it). On top of that, we got a horrid non-reaction from deVry. His expression didn't even change after he got the news.

The dialogue they give to Sabrina and Felix in order to make them appear young and cool is ridiculous: "And pull a Britt?" & "Reverse Britt." It's enough to make me sick. Who talks that way? I have to say though, I didn’t expect Felix to turn on Sabrina so quickly. It seems Brad didn't get through to him at all--he continues to stick his nose on other people's business and is judgmental while at it, too. And what the [!@#$%^&*] was that with Liz? Is this coming out already?

The acting and action between Luke and Heather was so laughable. It gave PASSIONS a run for its money. And, all of a sudden, Heather has men helping her? Sigh.

Alexis had one of the most disgusting lines: "Out of all three, completely unsuitable men that got me pregnant..." etc. EW. Just gross. My God, all these characters are walking around being flip & sarcastic about their own lives, as if they actually go home and watch the episodes of the show they're in. Ron is so aware of the soapiness of everyone's lives (SHOCKER! Soapy lives on a soap) that he can't help but have people running around, self-aware about how soapy everything is.

SO many questions about the Chief of Staff bullshit. It just kept getting worse and worse. What got into Brittany, giggling through all of her scenes? Who shows up at a board meeting for the position of COS in jeans? Is being appointed COS at a hospital like going to the park? Who the hell just demands an answer from the person possibly hiring them?

And, THE F.UUUUUUCK?????? regarding Dr. O walking in as the new COF. I love a good twist just as the next sucker but I wish you could have seen my face when they revealed it was her.

I thought they would have taken the opportunity to bring several people under this one umbrella story and see some great clashes and behind the scenes machinations in order to get the position. But that's my bad--that's what an actually well written soap would have done. And we clearly don't have that here.

I saw posts saying Lucas needs to help Sam see the light about Julian. I don't see the need for this awakening. Once you take away that some people want to see his bony body naked and love him because he's not Sonny, what is there that would make Sam having a relationship with him anything that makes sense for her? The whole story is a flop, as is de Vry.

de Vry is bony? laugh.png

I don't see the need for Sam or Lucas having anything to do with Julian. I don't even know why people would ask for that. If Lucas becomes an apologist for Julian rolleyes.gif

really, we're still blaming Guza? He hasn't been around for years. There are several fathers and sons on the show. The current regime has ruined relationships while failing to develop others. The current status quo has nothing to do with Guza. For their credit, the show did great with Michael and AJ but that tends to be largely nonexistent now bc AJ is barely featured other than to get drunk and feel sorry for himself

I agree Guza has been gone for 2 1/2 years, all, blame goes on this current regime. I agree Michael/AJ are the only father/son relationship that seems to have been written well, but yeah AJ is barely seen and when he is, the character is being written as pathetic and almost beaten-down

    • Yeah Suzanne mentions Y&R here  (no spoilers in the article) https://www.tvinsider.com/1227485/days-of-our-lives-suzanne-rogers-anniversary-maggie-storylines-mickey-victor/
    • I wonder if she may be transitioning to behind the scenes.  How many GH actors have also directed while acting on the show?
    • Despite my wish that Ric get revenge on Alexis and the gang, I really enjoyed their scenes today. RH and NLG have honestly never lost their chemistry with one another. Seems like Carly genuinely let herself give into Brennan today and regret it. Also just cause I smoked earlier it, it randomly hit me for the first time in over a decade. They had Michael murder Claudia played by the actress that played all of the most important early Michael stories. Kinda twisted lol
    • -- I love a good build, and the show has made me look forward to Winterfest. But some things seem so forced.  -- For example, the Vernon/Sharon meetups. GMAB. It's so obvious what this is and they're playing it too hard for too long.  I think one purpose is to make Leslie look like a fool, but it's hard to take. Is the tour over for Sharon? Does she sit in the hotel room all day long waiting for Vernon? Is he paying her bills? It's dumb.  -- Leslie is an awful human. I don't think she gives a rat's ass about Peaches. She cares more about Eva's sex life.  -- Izaiah and Eva have nice chemistry, but their conversation seemed forced to me. Didn't sound like first date dialogue and was too on the nose.  -- Shanice was great in taking down Leslie. I'm so glad the writing didn't have Leslie land the biggest smackdown. Dr. Wilkes was also great.  -- Again, Leslie is spending like she's worth a bajillion dollars. This has to be written for laughs.  -- I've done a complete turnaround on June. I now think she's a great addition.  -- Martin and Smitty are so concerned that Tyrell learn about Banneker that they call in a guy who started work there this week?

-- Tyrell is so much more mature than Samantha. I hate the way she treats him and talks about him in front of others.  She really sat there and asked Jessica why she's even with Tyrell. Samantha is pathetic.    Screenshot time: -- If I can get Fish & Fries at Orphey Gene's for $5, why is a glass of juice $4 ? -- That Mr & Mr sign at Martin and Smitty's is beyond lame and tacky.
    • So do I. Jack actually treats her like an equal partner. And he’s done far less evil things Nikki has just to ignore including to his own kids than Victor any day.
    • This 11/17 episode was extremely lazy and boring. That Adam and Chelsea opening scene was so cringe and out of character for both.  Billy Flynn is being wasted and I was only interested in Claire and Holden.    Every character feels the same with no actual personality.
    • Ugh...right? At least if Chris Bernau had been able to continue in the role, it would've been intriguing to watch Alan manipulate Reva.
    • Yes, it was. Dinah had started to soften after Henry's heart attack in March. After Paige Turco took over the role, the attitude is turned way, way down. The thing about Vanessa was, she could be very territorial. If Dinah had gone to Lillian (who had befriended Dinah before she knew Vanessa was her mother), that would've stung a bit, but Van probably would've understood. But Dinah getting advice from Ross' new girlfriend would not have sat well with her, the same way Van later bristles anytime Nadine tries to stake some kind of role in Bill's life. @DeeVee  I know it's been brought up before, but I hadn't really connected Long breaking up Ross/Van to the fact that she'd neither created that backstory or been responsible for giving them a love child.  I wonder what she would've done had she been there when Jordan left, and had to break Billy/Van up.
    • Yes it was The Young and the Restless.
    • I would love for Rick and Amber to come back and Amber to be involved with Deke somehow

The show does look great though!
