December 29, 201311 yr Member Angell Caldwell. The actress that plays Leslie. Her last name is actually Conwell Chloe needs to go too. EH has always been miscast and making Chloe Esther's daughter was always pointless. Lily, Kevin, Cane, Chloe, and Michael can all leave in 2014. My mom sat down and watched a full week of Y&R for the first time in years. She wanted to know when John Abbott became such an !@#$%^&*] and why every one became addicts.
December 29, 201311 yr Author Member why every one became addicts. I've been wondering the same thing

December 30, 201311 yr Member I was never into Billy and Mac. i always thought that the actress playing Mac was dreadful and boring. However, I loved the overall storytelling with the Glo by Jabot younger set. Edited December 30, 201311 yr by Ann_SS
December 30, 201311 yr Member I was never into Billy and Mac. i always thought that the actress playing Mac was dreadful and boring. However, I loved the overall storytelling with the Glo by Jabot younger set. She was not a traditional teenage soap heroine (in neither looks nor disposition)...I wasn't that type of teenager either so I found her more relatable because of it. Same reason why I love Tracy Abbot to THIS day. I'll still remember the song playing in the background when Mac arrived at Prom. The reactions from everybody. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6AaWrsN78k Don't make me cry....

Same reason why I love Tracy Abbot to THIS day. I loved Traci Abott, but then it helped that Beth Maitland was an extremely engaging actress. When she gazed off into the distance, Beth was able to emote and convey Traci's pain unlike the actress who played Mac who always looked like she was trying to remember her next line to me. But, different strokes and all that... Edited December 30, 201311 yr by Ann_SS
December 30, 201311 yr Member I liked Ashley at first, but she became very sullen and guarded all the time, and I just wasn't that interested in this, especially since I felt like most of the story was about Jill not allowing her son to have his great love of all time. I thought Billy was a punk so I couldn't invest.
December 30, 201311 yr Member especially since I felt like most of the story was about Jill not allowing her son to have his great love of all time. Jill was never just a spoiler for Billy & Mackenzie. The character was one of Alden's huge favorites & received one of the most well written story arcs of any character on the show at the time. Plus Jill's issues with Billy began long before Billy & Mackenzie even began dating.
December 30, 201311 yr Member I had always had a soft spot for JT and Mac back then too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OT_94iwhuFg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN8o4zdKfwM Edited December 30, 201311 yr by full hearts
December 30, 201311 yr Author Member That whole set of characters (Billy, Mackenzie, Brittany, JT, Raul) was fantastic. So many dynamics, complicated relationships and they were allowed to be teenagers that grew, evolved, changed and matured.
December 30, 201311 yr Member Just thinking about what if they have an Abbott family breakfast. DT's Billy, Ashley, Jack, and Traci all together.
December 30, 201311 yr Member They could.. Just thinking about what if they have an Abbott family breakfast. DT's Billy, Ashley, Jack, and Traci all together.

So many dynamics, complicated relationships and they were allowed to be teenagers that grew, evolved, changed and matured. You left out Rhianna and Colleen. They were definitely one of the best teen sets on the soaps. Only teen set that came close were GH's Brenda, Jason, Robin, Stone, Karen, and Jagger, IMO. Although, I did like the more recent Days younger set of Chloe, Phillip, Brady, Bell, Shawn, and Mimi.
December 30, 201311 yr Member You left out Rhianna and Colleen. Colleen wasn't really part of the Glow teen set. She's the bridge between the Glow teens & the next teen set (with Lily, Devon, Daniel, Cassie & Sierra)
