Oh I won't fault them for this. It seems in the past 10 years, if Jill gets a popular love interest then he gets written off someway. They had really good chemistry and he shouldn't have been written off. The show is terrible, so I'm happy that at least Jill will have a potentially interesting story.

For people complaining about the new regime, I have to say they have certainly treated JW as the treasure she really is. Jill, after all, is the heir apparent to Kay's throne. And, no better actress to hold that place on Y&R than JW. I'm certain that JC would approve. While this doesn't thrill me, at least TR is a good actor, there's already a foundation/history with Jill and he has ties - Cane and the grandkids. There really aren't good alternatives on the canvas for Jill, so I'll withhold (negative) judgment.

I see no benefit of having a mafia thug return to the canvas unless it is to escort Lame and family off of the canvas. And I sadly doubt that will happen.
